~Ren Y. POV~
[Nighttime, I-Island, Central Tower – Top Floor]
With me securing our route through the 80th floor, it was simple enough for our group to make our way to the 200th floor. Surprisingly enough, without anyone tripping or alarming the villains, we just so happened to arrive where the villains are located in the Control Room on the top floor.
No mistakes and no faults. The plan is going swimmingly, but the fatigue is hitting my classmates as Melissa and I managed to hold out strong with our [Peak VIT].
I gave them a short break and a few massages with my [Massage] skill to kill the fatigue, with Denki muttering, regaining some confidence from his tired tone, "Aw man… you do give the best massage. I feel my fatigue go away after running straight up 200 floors."
I gave a light chuckle, seeing everyone recover slightly as I said, showing my [Chart] through my Hero Costume in a serious tone, "As much as I would make a joke, I need everyone at their best or at least functional ability for the next part. The villains should be around the corner inside the control room, but we have the element of surprise on our side. Jiro status on the enemy?"
She soon gave her response using her Quirk to give us the number of enemies to be wary of in a serious tone, "I count 5 or 7. I count two somewhere discussing looking for something while the other five seem to be discussing bringing their boss over. I can guess those five must be the villains, while the two seem to be Melissa's father, David, and someone named Sam?"
Melissa nodded, confirming her words. Good. Shifting my gaze to Shoto and Denki in a serious tone, "Good. Then, we proceed to incapacitate them. Freeze or shock them when you have the chance, and Momo ready the glue bombs and restraining support items at the ready."
All nodded as we proceeded to the hallway down to the doorway, with Momo providing her support gear as we checked through my [Chart], lightly nodding as we steadily entered without being caught or unseen.
Allowing Melissa to go first with me covering her, I spoke in a whisper for us to hear, "Melissa, where's the control room located?"
She showed us the way she soon spoke up in a hushed tone so as not to alarm our enemies, "In front of the central elevator."
Carefully making our move around the corner, Jiro soon spoke up, getting our attention, being our scout, "Someone's around the corner. Sounds like the hostage that those villains took."
Melissa gasps, looking around the corner, muttering, "Papa!"
Realizing we were seeing her father and Sam inside the open storage room vault. Everyone nodded as we began to proceed carefully inside, but Shinso spoke up, feeling unnerved, in a hushed tone, "I'm not the only one to notice something off, right? If they were hostages, wouldn't there be guards with them?"
Everyone thought and nodded at Shinso's assessment. Glad to see his time with Eraser Head made him notice the obvious.
I curtly returned the nod, with me saying in a hushed tone, making a silent gesture, "Good. Because you ain't the only one. There's something clearly off, but proceed with caution, everyone."
Nodding at my command, we soon saw David Shield, but he wasn't hurt or tied up. There wasn't even any gunman he and his assistant Sam were just by themselves.
We managed to reach the vault outside the entrance, and we listened to their conversation as they confessed the news, I grasped onto Melissa's hand with David saying in an excited tone, "Ah! I've unlocked it. Block 1147. It should be opening."
Sam hurriedly went over to the location of one of the vault safe openings Sam opened up the briefcase, saying in a happy tone, "You did it, Professor! Look, everything is here. It's perfect."
I felt her hand tighten around mine as David said in the proud tone of his brainchild, "Finally. I've gotten it back. All my research. And they just took my device away from me. But now it's mine."
We all peeked to see the suitcase contained what looked to be a headpiece along with what seemed to be large charging batteries. My eyes narrowed behind my helmet knowing what that dangerous device truly is. [Observe].

Description: To restore All Might's power, David and his assistant Samuel Abraham researched for years to develop equipment that could revitalize Quirks. They eventually invented a support item that could exponentially increase the power of the user's Quirk without directly affecting the body. This meant the user's Quirk could be enhanced without the negative side effects of drugs like Trigger.
However, their sponsors at I-Island feared the damage that such a device could inflict upon society should it fall into the wrong hands, believing it would drastically change the structure of superhuman society. Therefore, governments from around the world put pressure on David to end his work on the project. The device and its research ended up being confiscated and locked away in the I-Island tower's security vaults.
David and Sam went to extreme lengths to get the device back, staging a villain attack on the island so they could recover it. David wished to give the device to All Might so it could restore his fading Quirk, willing to face whatever punishment he would earn afterward. The device itself is a sophisticated headset, it also came with two gray cartridges and a blue container, though the purpose of them both was unknown.

It's just so tempting to grab the thing. But frankly, while it would boost me greatly, it's a fucking nightmare that should be destroyed.
If All for One in Canon planned to use this to break All Might, revealing David's plan to his face with the metal user... I would hate what a realistic AFO would do just to gain the schematics or the actual item on himself.
For once, I agree with the government and HPSC that things are too dangerous to exist. But no, I'm willing to bet the government secretly made this behind David's back for their self-interest, but I'm rambling here.
Even though I wanted it, I can't. Not unless I want the world on my case.
Just adding to their confession, Sam spoke happily, holding the suitcase, "Just like we planned. And it looks like the villains are holding things down."
David soon came over to Sam's side in a happy tone reclaiming his prized invention, "Thank you. I couldn't have done any of this without your help, Sam."
My gaze shifted to Melissa, who seemed shaken by this revelation. I reassuringly placed my hand over her shoulder, saying, "It's okay. Go on."
She looked at me through tears and nodded gratefully before stepping forward, her voice shaking in disbelief, "Papa… what do you mean by planned?!!"
Making her appearance known, everyone soon joined, seeing them caught in their schemes as David spoke in a stunned tone, "Mel… Melissa! No!"
Sam clenched the suitcase tightly as he responded in a nervous tone, "Miss, what are you doing here?"
But Melissa repeated her words in an angrier tone, this time eyes filled with disbelief, "What do you mean that it's like you planned it? Don't tell me that you're the one behind this. This was all you. Just to steal something? No. It can't be true!"
Everyone soon got inside the vault David closed his eyes before staring them at Melissa in a defeated tone, "Yes, it is."
I could hear Ida whisper in a tone of disbelief at the news, "How… how can this be?"
I curtly responded while giving a command to see these types of people in a calm tone, my body tense for battle, "I'm not sure, but the world is a dark place all sorts of things can happen here no matter how noble someone puts it. Shoto and Jiro, can you make sure to inform us if any intruders come near us."
Saying my words seemed to have gotten them out of their stupor as they both replied, "Right!"
However, Momo returned to normal, regaining her composure as she said in a insisted tone, "I'm sure he has a good reason for doing this! David Shield is one of I-Islands' greatest minds surely, he could've done this – "
But I cut her words bluntly, being indifferent, keeping my focus on them and their safety in a calm tone, "A reason that justifies holding an entire city hostage?"
Momo looked down, conflicted at my words of assertion. Melisa muttered out loud at her in a disheartened tone, "Papa. How could you?"
However, that was when Sam spoke up holding the suitcase with a bead of sweat trickling down the side of his face nervously said, "The professor is only trying to get back what was stolen. The invention inside this briefcase can amplify someone's Quirk."
Hearing that Mina asked in a confused tone baffled by such a device, "Wait, is that even possible?"
Sam nods his head, answering her question as he explains the capabilities probably buying for time, "Yes. It's still being tested, of course. But unlike with drugs, this device can magnify a person's Quirk without doing any damage to their body or brain. Yet, despite that, our sponsors confiscated this prototype and our research data. Then, they demanded that the project be abandoned. They worried that something like this would drastically affect the structure of superhuman society. Fearing chaos, governments from different nations put pressure on your father to end it. That's why we did this."
Sam then proceeds to explain everything about their plans and actions with David agreeing to everything as Melissa spoke in a tone of disbelief, "There's something I'm missing, right? You'd never do this!"
Instead of defending himself, David confessed, causing Melissa to gasp in a desperate tone, "I'm so sorry. I had to for All Might. You lot probably aren't aware of this. But his Quirk is disappearing his getting weaker."
My classmates froze at the news their eyes widened in disbelief. Fortunately enough, they can't see inside my helmet. Eyes narrowed at him, speaking in a desperate tone, "However, if he uses this device, he'll be his old self. No. His abilities will be even stronger than they were! The number 1 hero… The Symbol of Peace… can get his strength and light back again. He can keep saving people. Just like he always has.…"
This nonsense and pride. I scowled in disgust, seeing that much Hero worshiping can do to make a man like him this blind.
If there was one thing I can agree with, Tomura is that this society needs to be destroyed or get a massive wake-up call. And frankly, I'm agreeing with Tomura on this one because of this idiot man's decision.
David then took the briefcase from Sam, causing my Classmate's eyes to widen, pleading to us in a desperate tone, gaining concerned expressions of the news, "Please. As All Might's teacher and hero, just let me hand this device over to All Might. Surely you know how important this is to him, right? There's no time to remake it. When he's better, I don't care what kind of punishment I receive – "
That was when Melissa spoke up in a heartbroken tone, gesturing to us, tears streaming down her face, "They risked their lives. Ren and his classmates went through so much! Do you know how dangerous this is – "
Then, instantly, my body reacted as metal began to wrap around us. My [Instinct] alerted me instantly to avoid being restricted before they could react, pinning us all to the wall. But soon, I got captured and restrained as well.
*CRACK*

Then someone else spoke up, causing everyone to be alarmed Wolfram spoke up with a confident grin, "Of course, this is an excellent performance not like my own. The real act was pretending we weren't criminals. You'd be smart not to resist. Sam. Hand it over."
Immediately Sam took the suitcase bringing it over to Wolfram with betrayal written on David's face heading towards Wolfram, "Right. Uh. Here you go!"
David's face looked in disbelief as he said with Melissa running towards me, "Sam? This was your plan. You were going to hand it over all along?"
That was when Sam took the time to confess to David of backstabbing him. My gaze drifted towards Shoto as he looked at the situation, his right hand giving a light nod just as Wolfram brought his gun up…
Practice hostage situation plan delta. Something we learned during our time at UA and personally from Ryuko about rescue practices with us detained with the hostages endangered.
Seeing the situation get this bad, it was time we started doing our part. We acted like heroes should. Ready to save the day.
Giving the light nod it was time to turn the tables. Let the games begin!

At that moment, Shoto used his Quirk to generate the ice, blocking the bullet and startling Wolfram, seeing that he doesn't know our abilities encasing him in ice. Since we were never spotted, they know nothing about us.
And I mean nothing. No identity of our Quirks, just a bunch of Kids that managed to get up here without issue.
Without anyone messing up or opening the doors, the villains don't know who just had to come to ruin their day. Using that meta-knowledge to my advantage, the villains were the ones who didn't see us coming.
Something we used to our advantage in this moment as I used my [Attract and Repel] and [Negation]. Seeing a screen pop up, it happened again when I used it on a Nomu.
I used [Negation] on Wolfram, which is the same thing that happened during the Hosu Incident. But I knew which of the two was more dangerous in this situation.

Being encased in ice, Wolfram was surprised, but it brought me enough time. Granted, it sucks I can only nullify 1 Quirk, but it's enough to react.
Each of us, my classmates, has enough trust in each other to react. We practiced in UA rescue training for such types of scenarios as this as we all fluidly reacted. Summoning halos on my classmates, focusing on the metal restraints…

Broken free from our restraints, pulling them, I immediately did the same to my allies, breaking them free from the metal restraints. And they spared no time using their Quirks as Wolfram's muscles began to bulge using [Muscle Augmentation], and was about to yell out loud till…
Ida and I met our gaze, curtly nodding and agreeing. Time to show this fool the meaning of the need for speed.
*VROOOOM*

Before he could respond, Ida revealed his Ultimate Move, kicking straight to the face once he got free in a blur, and announced out loud, "[RECIPRO BURST]!!"
Slamming Wolfram straight to the head, causing the man to form a crater being slammed into the wall, but surprisingly wasn't knocked out. His body gleaned red muscles bulging as he snarled, tapping his hand over the metal, but his eyes widened his Quirk was not working thanks to my assistance.
*Zzzz*
Not leaving him the chance, I spoke to him as he used his [Muscle Augmentation] in my body coated in [Bio-Electric Aura], having done with this man in a serious tone, "Don't bother. Your [Metal Control] Quirk won't work while I have it nullified. Although… that begs the question… where did you get that second Quirk?"
Wolfram growled at me as he rushed in using [Muscle Augmentation] in a defiant tone, intent on caving my head, "Grr…!! You stupid brat!! You think your top shit because you are here to save the day?!! DIE…!!!"
"REN!!!"
My classmates yelled in a concerned voice. But I needed to test this out against Muscular in the future. My fist clenched, preparing a [Thunder Punch] pulsing with electricity as he foolishly charged straight against me…
Reading his movement was easy with [Transparent World] observing his direction. I then landed my [Thunder Punch] on his arm, muttering out loud, "Here just for you! [Thunder Punch]!!"
*Bzzt*
He screamed with all his might as I punched his arm when he used his [Muscle Augmentation] as his muscles pulsated out of control, kneeling in pain, "Aargh….!!!! THIS FUCKING – SHIT!!!!"

As Wolfram is paralyzed, I explained to him in a cold tone as I created some handcuffs for him using [Create] rope tying him up, "If your Quirk increases muscle tissues to boost attack power, then – what if those tissues are slowly stimulated and torn, up? You can relieve pain by sending a mild electric current to your skin. It stimulates your tissues so greatly that they are torn apart. Inflammations and damage to a bodybuilder's muscles are way more painful than others. What I did was send one into your muscles. Electro-therapy, ever heard of that villain?"

He only managed to send a glare at me before knocking him out cold. Not leaving it to chance, Momo quickly launched the glue bombs, trapping the man in an impressed tone of Wolfram, "That was amazing work, Ren-san. But – "

The footsteps alerted us as Jiro spoke in an alarmed tone, "We got enemies incoming! Class Rep your orders!"
Seeing the chance, I moved quickly to the thugs coming to check on the commotion, giving commands immediately to my classmates in a serious tone. I asked them to detain David and Sam, "Ochaco. Toga… Detain them! We can't trust them in this situation, nor can we allow the villains to give the command or take the Quirk Amplification Device!"
Both nodded and followed my command, with Ochaco using her [Zero Gravity] and Toga swiftly cuffing them with the items Momo and I made. Seeing their capture, Sam struggled as David pleaded to me to give his device to All Might in a desperate tone, "Wait…! Ren, at least give this to All Might! He needs it!! The world still needs the Symbol of Peace –"
With them detained, I told both Toga and Ochaco to return the device in a stern tone, interrupting David Shield, "I need you both to return that to its box while we prepare against the villains. I would rather destroy that damn thing, but I would rather not get us all in deep trouble."
David looked at me, stunned, as they followed my instructions. My gaze lingered on the incoming danger as I spoke to David in a serious tone, "For a man who made great accomplishments, you are a very special kind of idiot. Ever heard the saying that the road to hell is paved with good intentions while the road to heaven is paved with good actions? And besides…"
Turning my head, taking off my helmet with my glare and a sly grin, I responded, motivating my allies in a determined tone, "If you thought All Might would agree to use your invention, you're dead wrong. No one can escape time. It's because of that he is using his remaining time to train the new generation of Heroes. Because when he vanishes, he'll know that we will take care of the future. For the future heroes of tomorrow to be there to say, have no fear, for I am here!"
David could only look down ashamed as my classmates seemed to regain their motivation and resolve. I directed Momo immediately, creating water bombs in a rushed tone, "Momo. Help me with creating watering the floor stat."
She agreed hurriedly as she helped me place some water on the floor, making it wet as she mentioned with renewed vigor in a determined tone, "You're right, Ren… maybe All Might would one day vanish, but… we'll be here to show that the time he spent training the new future heroes wasn't a waste of time. Everyone nodded as Shoto prepared himself, trusting my judgment completely in the usual stoic tone, "Future heroes of tomorrow, huh? You have my trust to guide us how you see fit, Ren-san."
Shinso snickered as he prepared his support gear and scarves, completely trusting me in a stoic tone, "Tch. You and your sappy words, man. Tell me what I gotta do, and I'll follow up, got it?"
Everyone began to show their trust in me, having complete faith, as I responded with a sly smile and cheeky grin in a confident tone, I said, "Thank you, everyone. And I have a plan in mind if we all work together, got it? We must go further beyond! Plus Ultra!"

With the water on the ground, the minions arrived as the gunmen, and Swordkil saw us, alarmed as they began to draw out their weaponry. This time, I told Denki to come to me, and he agreed, sparks of electricity flared around us in a serious tone, "Denki! Time to show these punks a nasty static shock!"
He grinned as he moved next to me. Sparks of electricity enveloped us as he grinned, unleashing his power in a serious tone as I provided him the cover from the dangers, "Looks like it's our time to shine, guys! Hey, villains suck on this, [Indiscriminate Shock 1.3 Million Volts]!"

Sending a large amount of electricity, the gunmen and Swordkil screamed in pain. And helping him using my [Electro Shotgun] as it traveled down on the villains stepping onto the water, electrocuting them.
Not one to be left undone, I soon created a repulsion force to block the incoming bullets as two more of their goons showed up. In the process managed to gain some EXP.

Seeing that Denki managed to take most of them, their heavy hitters began to appear, causing me to speak up alerting my classmates, "Everyone be careful they brought villains with combat quirks."

Description: Daigo appears to be a loyal henchman dedicated to Wolfram's cause. He enjoys fighting and commends those who know how to fight well. Daigo takes pride in his abilities as well, despite disliking being underestimated. His Quirk [Beast Form] gives him the ability to transform into a large, gorilla-like beast that grants great strength and durability.]

Description: Nobu appears to be a loyal henchman dedicated to Wolfram's cause. He has little patience and enjoys conflict, even against children. His Quirk [Displaced] grants him the ability to enlarge his hands into large, webbed claws. Anything he strikes with his enlarged hands will be displaced.]
Protecting everyone, I readied everyone for our next step. That was when the two quickly rushed forward with Daigo transformed, yelling in an angry tone, "GET THE BOSS! KILL THOSE BRATS – "
*Swoosh*
Nobu with his hands managed to get rid of the water on the floor. They were now making their way forward at an incredible pace.
I yelled out to Mina in a serious tone getting her attention, "Mina acid now!"
She smirked as she began to produce acid from her hands into my halo rings shooting them at an incredible speed with a confident grin, "Ya got it fearless leader! No way I'm letting you down after that pep talk! [Acid Shot] from Pinky coming right up!"
*Pew*
*Splash*
Mina immediately launched her acid with me, repelling them at their weapons and bulletproof vests through my halo rings. They were quickly alarmed as Nobu had to stop brushing off his melting hands screaming in fear.
"Ah!! Shit acid!"
"Quick get it off me!"
"Ah! It's melting through my vest!"
"Idiot get rid of it unless you wanna melt with it!"
"Damn it!"
"Those gosh darn brats!!"
Heh. Using acid on them, they were forced to lose their defense and attacks. No guns mean no firepower as they were too busy getting rid of the acid melting through their protection, but –
*VUMMM*
Daigo was trying to force his way in, punching my repulsion force as I kept studying, causing everyone here to flinch. He yelled out loud, growling at us, "You brats are so screwed when i get my hands on you – "
I motioned for Shinso to move, and he quickly did so, understanding my intent. Shinso took the stage as he mocked the villains with a bead of sweat trickling down his face putting up a brave face knowing what to do in a determined tone, "Then do something about it, dumbass."
Daigo growled as he argued back, making me smirk under my mask, "Oh, you – "
Then suddenly, he froze up with Shinso using [Brainwashing] as he gave a command in a neutral tone, "Attack that goat man next to you now."
*Swoosh*
Nobu ducked, alarmed that Daigo was attacked. It left us with ample time to have the villains confused with me and ample time to use our next step. I used my [Negation] on Nobu. Nobu froze, seeing his Quirk not working before being knocked out by Daigo straight to the head but alive…
*BAM*
*CRACK*
Oh… that's not gonna feel great in the morning. Watch out for a friendly fire, mate. I turned to Jiro in a confident tone, seeing some starting to leave as I used my [Attract and Repel] to force them here in place, "Oh no, you don't! Jiro, would you do me the honor of shooting them with the power of your heartbeat?"
She smirked, plugging her earphone jacks and standing in front of me in a confident tone using her new sound-amplifying items, "Heh. With pleasure. I was meant to test out my Ultimate Move during the exam but was never able to with Present Mic. With these guys, I can test them out let's say this move is… [Heartbeat Surround]."
*Snap*
*BOOOOOM*
Oh. Using the same sound-amplifying items from her [Heartbeat Distortion] technique, Jiro uses her jacks to remove the equipment pieces from her wrists and aim them toward a target, channeling a loud heartbeat that ignores conventional defenses and incapacitates foes.
All the villains had to be forced to cover their ears. I spoke to Shoto as they were momentarily stunned in a neutral tone, "Time to end this. Shoto, if you would do the honors capturing them nice and tightly?"
*Crackle*
The sheet of ice captured the villains in place with each captured as Jiro informed me in a happy tone with her earphone jacks, enhancing her reach of sound, "Seems like there were a few more, but they all decided to run away from the scene. From what we heard, they hightailed when we defeated their so-called elite team."
Grabbing onto Melissa's hand, I spoke in urgency, thanking Jiro with everyone guarding the villains, "Come on, we need to stop the villains holding everyone hostage. We'll deal with them later… and everyone makes sure they're down and securely captured."
My classmates nodded their heads as I shifted my gaze to Melissa in a determined tone, "Now we're at the final pull. It's time we end this. Together."
She grasped my hand tightly as we rushed forward with a smile on her face as I gazed from behind David's defeated expression as she whispered to me alone, "Right… Uncle Might was right to choose you as his Successor. You and your friends showed what real heroes you guys are in the future."
I nodded as I saw Jiro's eyes light up and widen in surprise. Ah… it seems like someone knows listening to Melissa's whisper, but I made a gesture of silent whisper as she nodded her head with an accusatory glare.
With that, we began to take Melissa to the control room to end this villainous nightmare. It seems like I might have to explain to Jiro about her eavesdropping. But all in all, the level of Two Heroes is cleared!

A/N: Hey guys, I hope you like this chapter and the outcome of the Two Heroes Arc. While the MC didn't get the final boss fight with Wolfram, he also knew it was dumb to let the villain power up, and unlike canon, he had his classmates by his side at the ready.
With the MC knowing the plot and not tripping up, he sets himself on the best outcome possible against Wolfram with his classmate's abilities showcasing them. It certainly helps with the MC knowing how to deal with Wolfram's second Quirk testing him out if he went against Muscular.
Hopefully, you guys like the chapter. But on a side note, I've been wondering about writing another MHA Fanfic reincarnated, but I'm not sure if I should use an existing character like Neito or Denki. Or create my character that's born with a personal gravity manipulation Quirk or born Quirkless, becoming OP within the rules of the MHA world.
