Capítulo 248: Chapter 248: I can't see you

Waylen's POV

It was a struggle but I opened my eyes. I looked around, everything seemed so blurry like I was looking at the world through a wet glass…that or maybe I am dead and this is the afterlife.

But it couldn't be, I could hear myself take a breath, I could hear my heart pound too…it was slower than normal but it was there.

Every breath felt like ice prick lined with corrosive material, the more I took in air the greater pain I felt.

I tried to remember what was happening but my mind was blank, even my own name eluded me.

I took a deep breath. It was a mistake.

Pain shot through me leaving me breathless, it made me wish for death!

Wait! I see a face in my head, it was there yet I couldn't really see it. It was slippery. The more I held on to it the faster it got away from me.

God damnit!

I need to remember.

I let go a little with hopes that the image would stay still long enough for me to take a peek.
