Emily's POV 

Waylen pulled me closer.

"That was spontaneous and now, I feel giddily. I like it" he told me.

I bit my lips and adjusted his shirt.

"Me too. To be continued…after I get ice cream"

He watched me go.

I was halfway to the ice cream stand when I felt like someone was watching me again.

At first I looked around the almost empty playground but I didn't see anyone suspicious. I waved it off and chalked it up to hallucinations.

I went back to enjoying the scene in my head of the kiss I just shared with my husband but then it happened again. I felt like I was being watched again.
