CHAPTER 93: I need somebody

Emily POV

I sat in the corridor of Oasis supermarket and I simply stayed in my mind as I waited patiently for Owen to come find us.

The decision to call my ex best friend and baby daddy was purely an emotional one. A spur of the moment thing. It was my dazed hurt mind trying to find refuge in something familiar and I guessed Owen was it.

Then I found out that Zuri never ordered the guards to keep me in the palace and that I could come and go as I pleased, I simply followed that instinct.

 I packed nothing, just the clothes on my body and the cash in my little bag and I left for the oasis supermarket for the first time.

That was three days ago.

I knew Pru was in that black SUV parked right over there but I couldn't care less.

I just wanted Owen to find us, so we could talk about our babies and how we were going to raise them.

The door to the SUV opened and Pru came down.
