Chapter 86: Lingered
Waylen's POV.
I knew Joey was trying not to laugh or say some mean thing to tick me off but he wasn't doing a good job.
He was my best buddy and odds were I was going to tell him about Sunny kissing me before the week runs out and I did. And now he was behaving like he was five.
"Can you just go knock on her door?" I pleaded with him.
"Why? And deny you the awkwardness that comes with the interaction with Sunny. I can't believe you are hiding from her" Joey's laughter echoed and I suddenly got the urge to put my fist through his abdomen.
"I am not hiding…just avoiding her until this blows over, okay. This is difficult!" I insisted
Joey stopped and adjusted my shirt and then he hit my chest gently.
"I am so sorry you are having a hard time. It must be so difficult having a beautiful girl be interested in you, Waylen. It's sucks to be you"
