Capítulo 12: Chapter 12
When we arrived at the mansion, we found many parked cars outside. His friends are here again.
"Oh." said everyone seeing us going inside together.
"Zella baby, what's the status?" Elton asked me curiously.
"Watch your mf mouth, Roux!" Taiden smirked but everyone just laughed except Keion who just looking at me seriously. He nodded at me and I gave him a smile. This person is really very mysterious.
"Uh ... excuse me. I'm just gonna change. Uh ... do you want anything? I'll get ready." I was embarrassed to question them.
"They don't need anything, Ze." Taiden again could no longer paint his face.
"Fence right away. You really thought so." Macsen's teasing.
Everyone laughed because of what Macsen said and Keion laughed too.
"Let it go. Our big boss is growing up." Dale commented.
I didn't mind it and went up to change. I just did a quick dressing because I'm sure they have commands.
When I went downstairs, I immediately heard the noise in the pool. They are there.
I hurriedly went there to ask again what they needed.
I found Macsen, Dale and Mozes swimming in the pool. Keion and Elton were playing chess, while Taiden was just bent over and busy on his cellphone.
When they noticed that I was approaching, the men in the pool immediately called me, and I approached.
"Do you need anything?" I asked.
The three shook and came slightly closer to the edge of the pool.
"Are you guys...Tell me, it's just ours." Dale's voice was weak and they turned to where Taiden was still staring at the cellphone. What is he doing? I don't think he even noticed that I was here.
"What?" that was Macsen.
"No. Just flirting." I said.
"Okay ... there's a lot going on, the problem isn't over yet." that was Moses. I frowned there. What problem does he mean?
"Uh ... what's the problem?" the three immediately looked at what I said.
"We don't have the right to tell you that Zella. Just, no matter what happens, we're just here. We're your friends, too." that was Macsen.
Now, my brain is in turmoil.
They have no right to tell me of what? And who should say it?
I never lost sight of that as I gave them what they needed. My cellphone rang and I saw Taiden texting.
I looked where he was but he was no longer there.
Taiden:
'Let's talk, please. I'm here in the bedroom. Leave them alone, they are not crippled. '
I smiled and was about to walk when someone hold my arm. When I turned around I saw Keion.
There was concern in his eyes that I could not understand.
"K-Keion." I said while looking at his hand on my arm.
He took a deep breath and grabbed his nape and closed his eyes.
"I'm sorry. You should go." he said and shook his head.
What is happening to him? Why does he seem to want to tell me something? It only added to my worries. I shook my head and proceeded to Taiden's room.
Before I could open the door, I took a deep breath. As I open the door, I saw so many red and white balloons glued to the ceiling. At each end of its string is what surprised me ... my old pictures.
These are pictures of me eating, cleaning or watering plants . It's all obviously candid. Why does he have this?
I even directed my eyes to the bedroom. There are small candles that serve as lights in the room. And when I got close to Taiden's bed there were pink rose petals used to form the letter.
'Will you let me in, Ze?' the words formed using rose petals.
I could no longer hide the smile on my face. It's been a while since I've had a lot of trouble in my mind, and in an instant ... everything disappeared.
"Will you let me in, Ze?" it was Taiden's voice from behind me. I turned around and saw he was carrying a boquet of pink roses. I was amazed! No way. A hundred of roses?
He had just taken a bath, and he was now wearing a black v-neck shirt. I don't know but I was amazed at what he was wearing. Because of his black shirt, cross earings and his textured quiff hairstyle.
With his dark intense gazed and all. He looks ruthless and a ... beast.
"Why do you have pictures of me like this?" I asked and he smiled once looking at the pictures hanging at the end of the string of baloons.
"From Mom."
I blinked at what he said. From Madam?
"Huh?" only I could say. He laughed a little as if my reaction was funny.
"She once sent me a photo of our new nanny, and thats you." he said with a smile still on his face.
"Huh? Why would Madam send you these?" A confused question.
"I don't know. But I'm glad she did." he said and approached me at once reaching for the flower he was carrying.
It was as if I would melt where I stood. I'm already confused as to which one I'm going to stop first. Is it the beating of my heart, is it my smile, or the mark he leaves on me that is slowly ... growing.
I accepted that and was grateful.
"Uh ... why are you doing this? What's up?" all my life, I never thought I would experience something like this that I only see on the internet. I feel so happy.
"Ze ... I'm courting you. And now, I'm asking you, if you would let me in?" at the same time he pointed to my chest where my heart was. "Will you be my girlfriend, Ze?" he asked as I looked up at him because of his extreme height.
I felt my heart beats, abnormally. My heart was pounding so hard and I felt like it was going up my neck.
"Why me? I...I thought, you like Sofiya." I finally said.
He took both my hands and kissed its back. He stared into my eyes as if he could see something there, and I was really afraid he would see how I felt for him.
"I don't like her, Ze. It's you I'm in love with. I'm still in another country, when started Iiking you. Funny, I haven't met you yet that time. Just your pictures, which I always look forward to from my mom ... " he shook his head and bowed slightly and smiled as if he couldn't believe what he was saying. "Now that I've seen you in person, I can say ... I'm fucking smitten with you, Ze." he said and at the same time weakly cheap.
There was no room for joy and amazement in my chest. I thought, I'm just assuming. But I really suspected that he might like me.
But what about my worries? How can they judge me? Madam or sir Darius? What if they get mad at me?
I'm happy, really really happy. But what if this happiness is short-live only? Can I handle that?
I smiled and held his hand back.
"What's your question again?" I said and he smiled there.
"Will you be my ... uh no scratch that. Be my girlfriend, Ze."
I nodded slowly and his smile widened even more.
So many what if's on my mind. But can I put that aside and follow my heart's desire?
"Yes." I said.
He hugged me and still did not lose the smile on his lips. He kissed the bridge of my nose and stared at me intently.
"I love you fucking much, Ze." he said as he rubbed his nose to mine.
