Noah naturally didn't notice the two women staring at his little mighty dragon.
His mind was immersed elsewhere.
He was slowly analyzing the gains he had gotten from the fusion of the Fire Dragon and Primordial Phoenix Bloodlines.
The exponential growth in strength was like an intoxicating drug to him.
He couldn't get enough of the feeling of power.
He materialized clothes on his naked figure as he immersed his consciousness and scanned his body.
His primitive inner world seemed to have changed and it was now more perfect than its previous state.
There was order and chaos was nonexistent.
This could be attributed to the Creation God of Elements Bloodline. The world was augmented by the five basic elemental laws and the higher laws of life and death, and space. The flow of time inside was the same as outside and since he had not fully comprehended the Time laws he couldn't alter the time ratio to his content.
This problem could now be easily solved by him. He had a perfect solution for it.
The world was barren and so what he was left to only do was to design it to suit his preference.
His consciousness covered the whole inner world, and using the basic elements, he partitioned it into territories corresponding to the Laws of the Universe.
He then created the mythical and elemental beasts best suited for the adaptability to the different territories using the Supreme Power of Life Laws.
There were dragons and Phoenix among those he could currently create.
He didn't concentrate so much on his creation as he promised himself to continue it during his leisure time.
What he needed to do at the moment was to comprehend the Samsara Laws which were already affiliated with the Time Laws and also Karma and Fate Laws from the Mirror of Samsara.
He first sent the Mirror of Samsara inside his inner world and then made three clones of himself each to handle the three Laws.
His mind acceleration worked at inconceivable speeds such that on the outside, it seemed as if only a millisecond had passed.
'These clones will try to comprehend the three Higher Laws and when they are finished, I will integrate with them and gain all of their knowledge,' Noah's mind raced in excitement as he knew it couldn't take them more than two days to comprehend these laws. His level of comprehension was beyond genius level presently and it would continue elevating with every evolution he will undergo in the future.
The Spirit of the Phoenix and Jasmine didn't notice any peculiarity.
"W-What was that terrifying flame? What was the meaning behind the Dragon and Phoenix manifestation? What's happening to you?"
A barrage of questions from the Spirit of the Phoenix jolted Noah from his reverie. Its pair of eyes were no longer on the menace between his legs since he was now fully dressed.
'Hmph, this Princess also needs answers from you. You lied to me about being a native of Blue Pole Star,' Jasmine chided telepathically. Her voice was filled with dissatisfaction.
Noah chuckled inwardly on hearing Jasmine ranting.
'You didn't tell me that you are from the Realm of the Gods. So it can be said that both of us are intentionally holding back personal information from the other. I am not obliged to tell you my origin since I don't trust you enough to tell you about it. Am I selfish to do that?' Noah retorted.
Jasmine was shaken by his words.
'He knows that I am from the Realm of the Gods. Why do I feel as if he knows more than he lets on?'
Her thoughts were already in disarray. Her suspicions about Noah's origin intensified.
"Oh, these flames," Noah raised his index finger and brandished dreadful red flames that silently hovered in the air.
"You can call these the Dragon Phoenix Flames."
"Dragon Phoenix Flames?!" The Spirit of the Phoenix blurted. Then did that mean that...
"Yeah, technically I have fused the Phoenix and Dragon bloodlines to create something more...interesting," Noah smiled, his words further affirming the Phoenix's speculations.
But his words caused tumultuous waves in its mind.
"But that's IMPOSSIBLE!"
"I only gave you two drops of Phoenix Blood Origin!"
The two drops of Phoenix Blood it gave could only allow only a slight gain of the Phoenix Bloodline which would just help the possessor to have an advantage when practicing flame techniques. But the being in front of it completely disregarded all common sense and created something unheard of in the whole Primal Chaos.
"What you have created naturally goes against heaven's way. You have created something that can be considered taboo. I can sense that you are suppressing your current realm. The tribulation that awaits you will be wholly concentrated on destroying your existence. After all, the heavens are jealous of anything that goes against the natural order. You should be careful," The Spirit of the Phoenix sighed in defeat since it couldn't understand the being in front of it anymore. It could only tell him about the impending tribulation he would have to face.
"Oh, the heavens you say. The heavens cannot and will never bind someone like me. Instead...the heavens should fear what I will do unto them!"
Noah chuckled as he didn't need to fear the divine punishment. It was just child's play to the current him. It wasn't arrogance but belief in his mighty power.
The Phoenix seeing his nonchalance didn't dissuade him anymore as it had a certain feeling that even the heavens will hit an iron sheet when dealing with this mysterious youth.
The conventional way of thinking didn't apply to him.
Such an anomaly could only be envied.
"Have you looked over the Jade slip that I have given you?" The Phoenix's Spirit asked as it didn't see him pick the jade slip that was currently floating forlornly.
Noah looked at the jade slip and took it in his hands.
He then pressed it against his head and all the contents recorded in it were transferred into his mind.
[ The World Ode of the Phoenix]
Although the technique was currently incomplete and on whole another level in terms of its use to control flames, it wasn't that helpful to him. He could easily deduce the lost first, second, third, and fourth stages but he didn't tell this to the Phoenix.
"The [ World Ode of the Phoenix ] has only recorded the Fifth Stage and Sixth Stage. It is incomplete in short. The other part is naturally not in my hands. The Phoenix God of the Divine Phoenix Empire has it. The set of events that led to that happening is quite saddening to explain," The voice of the Phoenix was filled with reminiscence.
Noah knew the history behind the splitting of the two Phoenix Spirits so he didn't mull over its sad reminiscence. He knew how it was dedicated to carrying out the will of the deceased Phoenix.
"I am contented with what you have given me," Noah expressed his gratitude as he felt his time on the Trial Grounds was already up.
"You are welcome. I am just following the Will of the Phoenix. Human, no, it will be right to call you an anomaly. It is now that I realize that you also possess the Evil God's Bloodline but my perception can't inspect further. You hid it well from me. If you hadn't undergone your evolution I honestly wouldn't have noticed," The Spirit of the Phoenix sighed helplessly.
"Your time in the Trial Grounds is up. I don't want to experience several impacts on my mind due to the tremendous surprises you are giving me. Before you leave, can I ask for a favor from you?"
Noah slightly nodded his head.
"Please save those Phoenix Clan members from the curse I inflicted on them. I have realized my blunder after all those years have passed since their ancestors committed such a heinous crime. Since the Phoenix is known for its benevolence, I will naturally forgive them. This will naturally not pose a problem to you, right?"
"Consider that already done. Bye!" Noah's figure started blurring and gradually disappeared from the Trial Grounds.
The Spirit of the Phoenix intently looked at the spot where the mysterious youth stood.
"His fate cannot be calculated. He can even evade the chains of karma. Even though I don't know his background and secrets, I could only catch a glimpse of the otherworldly aura surrounding his soul. He seemed...out of place with the Primal Chaos, but his very existence seemed to be anchored in the Primal Chaos thus he faces no rejection. Ugh, It's simply useless to think about it. What I can just attest to myself is that his future path will surely be boundless."
With those words, the pair of golden eyes receded into pitch-black darkness.
