"Where the hell is Giovietta?" the Marquis asked, irritated. He was told that the Queen and the lady-in-waiting had left, but the mage remained.
"She went for a walk with her fiance in the gardens, husband." Giovietta's mother spoke, holding the saucer in one hand and the teacup in the other, quickly turning her attention to the steaming liquid.
The Marquis looked at his wife's tranquility and was not at all pleased. He knew very well that she was in favor of this marriage between Giovietta and Suindara.
"They were accompanied, weren't they? I don't want her to do what she shouldn't and end up tarnishing her own reputation even more."
"Her reputation is unblemished. It was almost tarnished on account of the Duke of Seville's actions. But luckily, the Queen has already resolved the situation."
