"And you became a demon." 

Edgar got up and turned around, his hand on his mouth. DElina noticed how nervous he was. 

"I'm sorry. I know I should have never let this got this far. And I almost…" He looked at Delina and she could see the pain in his eyes. 

"Edgar, you did it to help people. I understand it."

He was shocked and stopped pacing. Turning to her, he took a few steps in her direction. 

"Don't you feel disgusted, frightened?" He wrinkled his nose as if he felt this way about himself. 

Delina approached him and raised her hand to touch his face. 

"Why would I feel disgusted by you? You gave up on yourself to save others. I am proud of you."

Edgar closed his eyes and put his hand over Delina's and then, he kissed her palm. 

"Delina…" He looked into her eyes and approached her, until their bodies were really close to one another. "Do you still feel like kissing me?"
