The sun slowly descended beneath the skyline of the city as Mary stood by the large window of the honeymoon suite. She swirled her now third glass of wine slightly, a smile of content dancing on her lips. She heard the sounds of Takeshi’s shoes on the floor and saw his reflection approaching in the window’s reflection. She finished what was left in her glass and let him take it from her. She watched him set them down and join her at the window, feeling him wrap his arms around her. She caressed his cheek and the two stood there, watching the lights of the city slowly spring to life.
