Matthew finally gave up and did not insist on going to England after hearing Jackson's reasons. He is now on the second floor of Jackson's travel agency building. Matthew sat by the window, watching the street in the area from where he was.

Lily, who accompanied Matthew, took a deep breath while holding Matthew's hand. "We have only briefly postponed our departure to England. In the end, we will still go there."

Matthew immediately turned his attention to Lily. "Yes, I know. I almost forgot what Alo told me after Collin had a gunshot wound. I should have also thought of your safety and not only of my interests."

Lily nodded slowly with a small smile at Matthew. "Don't worry. Your mother will be fine. She's a strong woman. I guarantee she won't believe it if Max says you died in a lab accident."

Matthew smiled as he took Lily's hand. He then nodded his head. "Thank you, Lily."
