Capítulo 63: Your Fault
"I told you that is not how you make the stew" said Alfred as he looked at one of the maids.
"It looks more like water than stew" he said as he sighed.
"I am sorry Alfred... I thought that it would not be so watery" said the maid.
"Well your thoughts ruined the stew, so pour it out and make a new one... and this time based on my clear instructions" said Alfred seriously.
"Yes Alfred, I will do so right away" said the maid as she nodded her head and she proceeded to carry the pot of ruined stew and she poured it down the drain, luckily she had not yet added the meat.
"It is almost dinner time and the food is not prepared yet" said Alfred as he sighed.
"Does Amalia have to be the only one that does everything around here??" he asked himself as he sighed, the girl herself needed a break.
"Umm Alfred, you have a call" said Lexi as she entered the kitchen and she had a wireless landline in her hand.
"Who is it from?" asked Alfred as he turned to look at Lexi.
"It's from the boss Alfred" said Lexi as she covered the phone with her other hand.
"Give me" said Alfred as Lexi handed him the landline.
"Stay here and watch her, make sure she does not ruin dinner... again" said Alfred as he looked at Lexi.
"Alright Alfred" said Lexi as he nodded and left the Kitchen.
"Hello" said Alfred as he put the landline to his ear.
"Hello Alfred, I have been trying to reach you all day, where did you put your phone?" asked Dom as his voice came from the other side of the line.
"Ahhh sorry young Master, I must have left my phone... somewhere??" said Alfred as he himself did not know where he had put his phone, all he remembered was that he was cleaning Joy's playroom, and well that was about the last time he had seen his phone.
"Haha" said Dom as he laughed.
"Young Master do you need me to do something?" asked Alfred.
"Yes..." said Dom.
"Put Joy on the line, I want to speak to her" said Dom.
"Ahh well young Master, I am afraid that will not be possible" said Alfred.
"And why is that??" asked Dom.
"Well the Madam and Joy went out after lunch, and they are yet to return" said Alfred.
"You mean Natasha took Joy out??" asked Dom as he could not believe what he was hearing.
"Yes Young Master" said Alfred.
"And do you know where they went??" asked Dom
"No... the Madam did not say, but judging from the last time they went out, Joy said that they went to the park, and maybe that is where they went" said Alfred.
"I see" said Dom as he seemed to be thinking, it was nothing illegal for Natasha to take Joy out, but she was her mother after all, but Natasha's sudden change, and everything going on, just made Dom a bit suspicious, things were changing and not in a good way.
"Yes young Master" said Alfred.
"Young Master are you coming home for dinner today?" asked Alfred.
"Ahhh No Alfred, I will be coming home late from the office today" said Dom.
"Alright then Young Master" said Alfred as he saw Mason pass by and he waved him off.
"Yes, so bye Alfred" said Dom.
"Bye Young Master" said Alfred as Dom ended the call.
"Mason take this back to the office room" said Alfred as he looked at Mason who was standing behind him.
"Alright Alfred" said Mason as he took the landline from Alfred and he walked away.
...
"What's wrong?" asked Charlie as he saw the worried look on Dom's face.
"Natasha took Joy out, and I do not know where they are" said Dom as he looked at his laptop and he typed out something.
"That woman would dare do such!!" said Charlie in anger.
"What do you mean by that Charlie??" asked Michael.
"She is Joy's mother after all, it is only natural for her to take Joy out sometimes" said Michael.
"Well she is not a normal mother, that woman is capable of anything" said Charlie.
"Whatever" said Michael.
"Maybe you should call Lia, maybe she is with her" said Nine as he spoke up.
"I was just thinking the same thing" said Dom as he picked up his phone and he dialed Lia's number and she picked in an instant.
"Not a surprise" said Nine as he scoffed to himself.
"Hey Lia" said Dom as he smiled.
"Hey Dom" said Lia as she smiled and she washed her hands, she was cooking.
"Is Natasha with you?" asked Dom.
"Natasha???" asked Lia as she dried her hands with a cloth and she picked her phone off the countertop.
"No... no she is not with me" said Lia as she frowned.
"Why do you ask?? is something wrong?" asked Lia
"Well Natasha went out with Joy, and I do not know where it is that they went to" said Dom.
"Ahh wow, that is something, I am home right now, but I did see Natasha a while ago" said Lia as she switched off the stove.
"I see... thank you" said Dom as he smiled.
"Your welcome, but don't worry, I am sure they will come back soon, it's not that ;ate yet" said Lia.
"Yes, I am sure of that too.. Bye" said Dom.
"Bye" said Lia as she smiled.
"So???" asked Charlie.
"Lia does not know where they are either" said Dom as he sighed.
"You see, this is suspicious" said Charlie.
"Not now Charlie" said Michael as he shunned Charlie.
"Dom there is no need to worry, Natasha is a responsible adult, they should return soon, and if they don't we will go and look for them" said Michael.
"I hope you are right" said Dom as he sighed.
"Anyway, you guys have suffered with me enough, you can go home now" said Dom.
"Oh nonsense Dom, we came here to keep you company" said Charlie as he smiled.
"What time will you be going home??" asked Michael.
"Well around 8pm" said Dom as he looked at his watch.
"Well alright then, no problem we have been here almost the whole day, so what's another four hours??" asked Michael.
"Yes Michael is right, no worries, we can go home together" said Charlie.
"Alright then, suite yourself" said Dom as he laughed.
"Sir I am going home now" came the voice of the secretary as she entered Dom's office.
"That is alright, you can go now" said Dom.
"Thank you sir" said the secretary as she smiled and she left.
...
"You should have told me that I was going to meet this Princess today, I would have dressed up nicer in a suit" said Pete as he laughed.
"Oh hush Pete, there would be no need for that, it was better that she saw you just the way you are, in your cool Police outfit with your gun and everything" said Natasha as she laughed.
"She sleeps so peacefully" said Pete as he looked down at Joy who was sleeping on Natasha's lap as she sat in the front passenger seat.
Pete had driven Natasha and Joy home in his police car, and Joy was fast asleep as he was parked right outside their house.
"Yes she does" said Natasha as she looked down at Joy and she smiled.
"I wonder why she is sleeping" said Pete as he laughed.
"Well it's your fault Pete" said Natasha.
"How is it my fault??" asked Pete
"Well because you wanted to avoid my very valid questions you took her to get some ice cream, which is full of sugar, and now she is fast asleep" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Yeah, yeah" said Pete as he laughed.
"Well now that there are no more distractions for you to use" said Natasha as she looked at Pete.
"Tell me who the mystery woman that is the love of your life is?" asked Natasha as she looked at Pete.
"You do not have to know" replied Pete.
"Aww why not?? come on Pete, don't be so proud, I am sure I can get her to like you" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Once I tell her what a wonderful man you are, you are handsome, funny, protective, and most of all, you are a great lover, even though you don't show it all that much" said Natasha a she smiled.
"Oh so you know all that??? I thought you were blind to all my good qualities" said Pete as he laughed.
"Oh don't flatter yourself Pete, I am only trying to help you" said Natasha as she scoffed at him, she should not have said that, it would give him a even more bigger head than he already had.
"Well I do not need your help everything is under control" said Pete.
"Oh well if you say so" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Well let me get going now" said Natasha as she opened the door and she carried Joy in her arms as she stepped out of the car.
"Bye Nat, tell the Princess that I would love to see her again" said Pete as he smiled.
"I will, and I am sure that she would want to see you too, and maybe next time with a gun that you could easily remove the bullets from" said Natasha.
"Don't go there Nat" said Pete as he laughed and Natasha laughed too.
"See you later Pete" said Natasha as she smiled brightly.
"Later Nat" said Pete as he smiled and he watched Natasha walk into the house with the still sleeping Joy in her arms.
"If only I could..." said Pete as he sighed and he stopped his sentence and he started his car and drove away.
