The training was about to begin.
Code was not fighting Ryu, but rather giving him pointers and tasks to help him strengthen.
Code didn't want to be bothered by him. So he decided to train him in a way that would make his job easier while also allowing Ryu to grow in strength.
Both Ryu and Code were standing in front of a large boulder. Code teleported Ryu outside the Kara's base.
Ryu wasn't sure what code was up to, so he decided to ask, "What do you want with the boulder?"
"We will be improving your chakra control," Code said as he turned his head to Ryu. "How about we start with that little boulder over there?"
Ryu rubbed his eyes before reopening them to realise that his vision was correct. The boulder that Code had brought was the size of a small room.
Ryu was aware that the code would make things difficult for him, but it was as if he was encouraging him to be crushed to death while lifting the boulder.
Ryu glared angrily at the code: "Are you sure we can start with this so-called little boulder right in front of your eyes?" "I have a feeling you want me to end up dead on my first day of training."
Code didn't respond to Ryu, instead approaching the boulder and catching it with his hand, lifting it on as if It was a feather: "It's really not that big of a deal. Don't bother me any longer. It irritates me."
Code threw the boulder to the ground.
Ryu knew he couldn't force code, so he asked, "Sure, if you're willing to be here until the whole training is finished, guide me every step of the way and give me pointers on every mistake."
Code sneered. It was the last thing he wanted to do, walk Ryu through the entire process.
Code teleported Ryu to an unknown location filled with boulders of various shapes and sizes. There were rocks ranging in size from that of a mansion to that of an ant.
Looking around, Code said quietly: "You will be able to train freely here. There is a fast-moving current in the nearby river where you can improve your chakra control."
It was a rocky mountain with rocks all over it and a river with the fastest current of water flowing through it that could kill a jonin evel ninja l in a minute or so after falling into the river.
He formed claw marks on approximately 50 rocks before approaching the river with Ryu close behind.
"Activate your sharingan," Code said as he began walking through the strong current of water. " Analyze chakra in detail. Just look at how I'm pulling this off." It will ease my work and eliminate the need for me to explain it to you."
Ryu activated his sharingan, focusing on Code's feet, which had a steady flow of chakra that adjusted automatically to the fast water currents. He had reached the master level of chakra control, far surpassing Ryu.
Code surprisingly brought a massive boulder, lifting it while standing in a rapid current of water.
Code looked at Ryu and spoke: "I will make you able to pull this off by the end of this month."
If Ryu could do what code did, it would indicate that he had mastered chakra control at the very least.
It would take years of training to be able to do that, and in a month, that was simply too much.
Ryu saw Code's serious expression and asked, "Is it possible to accomplish such success in a month?"
"It would take others a long time," Code replied, "but with the modifications on your body and my assistance, it is possible, if you go through the hellish training."
Ryu took a deep breath and asked, "Where should we start?"
Ryu had a determined expression on his face. Code looked at Ryu and decided to stay here with him for a month and force him to give up due to the scale of the training.
.
.
.
.
Ryu was soaked in sweat. He was running as fast as he could, carrying a massive boulder on his back. His body was covered in weights, similar to ones Lee wore in Naruto.
Code was strengthening Ryu's body with weights wrapped around him for increasing his endurance and stamina by running endlessly.
Ryu had no idea what he was going to do with such a powerful body. A chidori would pierce him no matter how strong he was. Code never bothered to explain why, instead just instructing him to run 100 laps.
A normal ninja would be unable to keep up with such training, but Ryu's body had been heavily modified, and he had also activated his sage mode to power up his physical fitnes, enabling him have the high vitality due to Hashirama's cell.
Code had teleported to his personal small chamber in the training area, where he watched Ryu run as if his survival depended on it.
Ryu's ability to keep up with his training schedule surprised Code.
Ryu was still doing laps with the weights and boulder. He needed to adjust his chakra on a regular basis to make the boulder more sustainable and his body suffer less.
At the start of the training, he simply overflowed his arms with chakra to lift the boulder, but as he grew tired and his chakra depleted, he had no choice but to adjust the quantity to avoid being crushed by it.
Code was informed of Ryu's ability to regenerate. Ryu had previously explained his abilities.
As a result, Ryus was well aware that the code would not mind Ryu being crushed every now and then in order to force him to learn faster.
Ryu attempted to retaliate, but Code ignored Ryu's words.
He knew Ryu wouldn't die, but to reduce the risk, he even placed izanagi in Ryu's eyes.
Ryu wished he hadn't told Code about his Izanagi.
He tripped due to a rock on the ground while distracted and fatigued in his body. His back was crushed by the boulder.
Ryu screamed in pain, "Ahh!"
When Ryu was crushed, Code teleported him inside the chamber.
"Heal up!" Code said to Ryu, who was lying on the ground in pain.
Ryu's body began to heal as a result of his rapid regeneration, byproduct of Hashirama's cell, and it progressed even further due to Amado's healing modifications.
"Easier for you to say," Ryu growled, looking at Code's indifferent expression.
Code teleported Ryu away again after a minute of healing.
Ryu's chakra control improved after being crushed a few more times. He'd get crushed if he didn't improve it. His control advanced quickly because, as the saying goes, "one could show its true potential in the moment of crisis."
He finally stopped getting crushed and ran 100 laps.
Ryu collapsed to the ground shortly after finishing the laps.
Even with such modifications and Sage mode, he struggled to finish the first day of training.
If he had not learned sage mode, it would have been near impossible for him.
Code teleported Ryu after he collapsed on the ground.
Ryu asked Code, "Does every kara member go through such training?"
Code yawned before speaking: "I guess you are the special case."
Ryu closed his eyes and dismissively asked, "Why did I do it to deserve such a chance?"
"You have less time than others to get stronger, only six months," Code said as he rose from his seat and walked towards the windows. "I want to prove to Jigen how capable I am."
Ryu sighed, thinking, "This Otsusuki maniac!"
Ryu's daily life went on in this way.
After waking up, he'd be trained in chakra control by going on that hellish run, walking on a fast stream of water, punching boulders of various sizes, and improving his power by increasing the power while decreasing the chakra required.
After each intense training session, he could see the difference.
During the six months of training, Ryu was allowed to use sage mode for a month.
He would teach him pure taijutsu from noon to evening, as well as how to use his modified body to make weapons like the sword he grew from his forearm.
He would practice taijutsu with him once a week. He'd just toss him into a forest full of wild beasts, which he'd gather with his claw marks every day.
It was more like he was handing the outer members of Kara his claw marks and instructing them to patch up those on the most powerful wild animals they encountered.
Ryu was not allowed to use jutsu even if he was about to be killed. Because he had izanagi and rapid regeneration, it was nearly impossible for him to be killed by animals, but killing them with just his taijustsu was really hard.
It didn't even stop there. He took all of Ryu's money plundered from Tsunade and hired rogue ninja, bandits, and mercenaries as if it were water. He bought so many that Ryu couldn't even count them and threw them at him in waves, just allowing Ryu to use taijustsu to defend himself.
Many of them were jonins who possessed lethal S-class jutsu. Ryu relied on his Sharingan to fight them, he needed to activate them all the time during battles.
Ryu couldn't even count how many times he was on the verge of death due to multiple attacks from different directions hitting him at the same time.
Without the rapid regeneration, Ryu would have died millions of time.
Code even ordered Ryu to accumulate capital in some way, since training was not able to convince Ryu to give up.
Ryu relied on the land of waves for a money.
Code used the very same capital every week to unleash waves of ninjas on him.
Ryu had only been training for a month and was already more powerful than he had ever been.
Code's training was difficult, but it made him stronger.
Code began training Ryu on jutsu with a different training plan starting as in second month.
