Capítulo 26: Code
Ryu became unconscious after getting hit by Rasengan.
Ryu had been stationary for six months. He couldn't move properly, making Koji's task easier.
Ryu had not yet completed the necessary training to use his mangekyou. He had a difficult time launching his abilities.
Ryu was now on a first-aid bed. His body was regenerating at a rapid pace.
Because of the Hahirama's cell and the device Amado implanted in him, he had rapid regeneration.
Ryu awoke six hours later.
Ryu looked at himself lying on the first-sid bed and wondered, 'Wasn't I under the modification?' 'What brings me here now?'
Ryu stood up and noticed that nothing was wrong with his body except that it was completely stiff.
When he tried to think, memories flooded back to him. He attempted to fight Amado and Koji, but due to his weakened physical and mental state, he landed on first aid.
Ryu sighed as he remembered what had happened and placed his hand on his stomach, but he felt no pain. He knew it was because of the changes he underwent.
He looked at his naked body. There were no white tissues left over from Madara's transplant. He was content.
When he looked in the mirror, he saw that he was a carbon copy of Itachi.
Ryu smiled and thought, "By looking at my appearance, I feel like I'm reborn in Itachi's body."
After six months of living inside the tank, Ryu's hair had grown long. He didn't want to cut it and wanted it to be as long as possible.
His hair added to his cool factor.
His body was still stiff, and he had difficulty moving it.
Ryu tried moving his body parts one by one and his parts were like they were jammed and needed to be fixed.
He needed to do some light exercise every day to get it fixed, but Ryu planned on doing heavy exercise and putting in long hours of practice to master his powers.
He knew Jigen was about to issue a command to eliminate cyborgs, and if his name was on the list, he wanted to be able to defeat boro in battle as soon as possible.
Ryu had previously overestimated his own abilities while underestimating those of others. He had to pay a high price for it. He was more assertive than ever that he couldn't afford to be arrogant. There were far more powerful individuals than him.
Ryu began to stretch his body. As a warm-up, he began doing light exercise in his room. He stretched his body until it was drenched in sweat.
He looked around his room after warming up. He noticed a metal pipe. He picked it and started to push it behind the wall. He started to exercise in the room.
He was drenched in sweat after two hours of exercise and decided to take a break. He fell asleep as soon as he layrd down on the bed.

Amado submitted the report about Ryu successfully surviving the modification to Jigen, who was sitting on the chair having his lunch.
Jigen examined the reports and questioned, "How much potential does he have?"
With a complex expression, Amado sat at the opposite end of the table. He was unsure how Jigen would react to Ryu's survival following the modification: "In terms of potential, he is at code level." He is someone who can be of great assistance in the future."
"If he has potential, order code to train him for six months," Jigen said as he ate his lunch. "We will decide his position after that."
Amado was troubled about it, but coding training was less strict than jigen's training.
"Then I'll do just that," Amado said, looking at Jigen and walked away.
Aamdo exited the room, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it.
Koji stood there, waiting for Amado to leave. He noticed Amado approaching him and asked, "How did it go?"
Amado saw Koji waiting for him and It was for a long time and answered: " He will be training under Code."
Koji was surprised. Code was directly trained by Jigen, and after Jigen obtained kawaki, he had no intention of training anyone, but Code was more powerful than Jigen, and being trained directly by him was a big deal.
The issue was that the code was extremely lax. He was at the pinnacle of laziness. He wouldn't be bothered with anything unrelated to Otsutsuki. He was a maniac for Otsutsuki, willing to give his life for them.
Koji grinned as he heard the news. His mind wandered to one thought: "Code will have a difficult time. It'd be one of the most entertaining sights to see, Code working hard and even getting into trouble." Koji was looking forward to it.
Amado sighed as he noticed Koji's smile and thought to himself: " Some things do not change. He hasn't changed his mind about code."
"I will bring code for Jigen's order," Koji said, looking at Amado.
"Do whatever," Amado said, looking at Koji's bright smile. "I'm going to pay a visit to Ryu."
When Koji arrived Code's room, he barged in without knocking.
Code opened one of his half-closed eyes and asked, sluggishly, "What brought you here?"
"I am here to inform you of the task handed to you by Jigen," Koji said, looking slightly at the code.
Code glanced at Koji again and noticed Koji's grin and immediately knew it was going to be troublesome: "So, what are the orders?"
Koji explained to him the task that Jigen assigned to him.
Code collapsed to the ground and asked, "How should it be me?"
"It's because you are the strongest," Koji said as he approached the code.
He decided to leave after looking at code's precious expression.
Code was still struggling to recover from the impact.
Code became too tired to think about it and decided to sleep, leaving the problem to his future self.
Amado was in Ryu's room, telling him about his training for the next six months with code.
Ryu chuckled softly, thinking, "Getting trained by an insanely strong middle boss would surely be a great opportunity."
