In many cities of planet Earth, beings of unknown origine, named "Outsiders" were roaming around the earth, being accused of disguising as humans and killing people around using their extraordinary powers and abilities. So, in order to detain these so-called threats, Humanity formed the organization named with people that joined given the title of "Guard" which is named that, because their job is to protect people from the outside world, meaning the unknown.
