Capítulo 42: Chapter 42: Sean Chooses a Second Painting

There was an energy humming under Sean’s skin ever since his conversation with his father. He didn’t regret calling off the deal, but his world felt like a cage again and he was ready to throw himself against the walls.

All the crazy prep work for the show didn’t help. He was dragged from photoshoot to photoshoot, shoved in one make-up chair and then prodded with pins as designers made final adjustments.

This was what his life was going to continue to be, now, and if this seamstress pricked him with a pin one more time, he was going to kick her in the face.

The second he was released for the day and back in his own clothes, he got in his car and drove to the Bennett Psychiatric Hospital. The hour and a half drive helped him calm down, and his head felt a little clearer by the time he knocked on Tyler’s door.

The same man from before opened the door, greeting him with a big smile. “Little bro! You came back!”
