Capítulo 111: The Discussions

It was about ten in the morning the following day when Maria got a call from the Alcatara firm. She was scheduled to see him by twelve. As impromptu as the message was, especially because she was having a lazy day, she managed to drag herself out of bed. 

This was the second time today she was doing that. The first was in the early hours of the morning when she went to check up on the princess. She returned to her bed, satisfied with how bright Ursula was, and laid down to sleep. The next time she awoke again, it was from her phone ringing.

She carefully took her time to bathe and dress up. The meeting was only till twelve afterall. She ignored the tiredness in her bones. She blocked the weariness that threatened to pull her down. She shut off the images that mocked and swirled in her head.
