Capítulo 32: Chapter 32: Infinite City

Tokyo Prefecture, Asakusa District.

The room resounded with destructive chaos, echoing a symphony of destruction as Muzan wreaked havoc, much like a betrayed spouse discovering infidelity.

"Gyokko, you scoundrel! You've truly infuriated me!"

Ever since the news of Gyokko's death reached him, Muzan had been consumed by a relentless fury. He had already dispatched everyone in the room to the afterlife.

Two minutes later, upon learning that Hantengu met the same fate as Gyokko, Muzan felt as though his remaining three hearts might burst from the intensity of his emotions.

However, as the memories of Hantengu flowed into his consciousness, Muzan's remaining three minds transitioned from anger to exhilaration.

This time, it wasn't anger but rather anticipation that coursed through him.

He was exhilarated by Aomori's existence.

"Such a rare bloodline has emerged again. It's as if the gods themselves are aiding me. I must capture him this time!"

With the assistance of his "Superman's Disguise Glasses," Muzan couldn't connect the Aomori before him to the original person. He believed it to be divine fortune, and another vial of evolution potion found its way to Aomori.

"Nakime, gather Doma and everyone around him and bring them to Infinite City," Muzan declared without hesitation. He hungered for Aomori and aimed to eliminate the entire Demon Slayer Corps in one fell swoop.

However, Muzan remained severely injured and had not fully recovered. Though he held a significant advantage, he displayed prudence by entrusting his most trusted subordinates, Kokushibo, the Upper Moon One, with the task of retrieving Aomori.

Accompanying him were several other lower-ranked demons temporarily elevated to Upper Moon Six.

Muzan was pulling out all the stops this time.

As Gyokko met his demise, Doma, already under siege by the Four Pillars, abandoned his slow and methodical approach to tormenting his foes. He knew that once the pill ars, who had defeated Gyokko, joined the fray, his doom would be sealed.

Thus, Doma made a swift decision and unleashed all his might.

"Blood Demon Art: Crystalline Divine Child!"

"Blood Demon Art: Cold White Princesses!"

"Blood Demon Art: Rime — Water Lily Bodhisattva!"

In quick succession, he employed three powerful techniques, nearly depleting his entire reservoir of demon energy. Yet, the results were astounding. Doma, who commanded the power of ice, summoned an icy fog that shrouded nearly half of the battlefield in frost.

Aware of the poisonous nature of the icy mist, the Pillars promptly avoided it, with the Flame Pillar, Rengoku Kyojuro, remaining unharmed thanks to his blazing flames.

"Follow me, everyone!" Rengoku Kyojuro continued to dispel the icy fog with his fiery breath, carving a clear path for the others.

Without changing their expressions, the Four Pillars charged into the icy mist toward Doma, who was attempting to retreat.

"Stop him! Don't let him reach the tunnel!" Rengoku Kyojuro bellowed.

However, numerous ice creations impeded their progress.

Just as Doma was about to reach the tunnel entrance, two figures descended from the sky, blocking his path.

They were Sanemi and Tokito Muichiro, who had just finished their battle against the jade pot.

Sanemi's eyes widened like copper bells. Having already collected two demon heads, he eagerly anticipated adding Doma's to his collection.

Simultaneously, the hound's breathing temporarily vanished, and Doma, shaking his fan, displayed a helpless grin. "Well, well, this is quite unfortunate."

Before Doma could retaliate, the surroundings underwent a sudden transformation. The battlefield, once a ruin strewn with tiles, morphed into a room with a familiar layout.

"Infinite City?" Doma couldn't help but rejoice after narrowly escaping disaster. "Praise be to Lord Muzan!"

"Hey, what's there to be happy about?" Doma turned around and found himself in a room with Sanemi, Tokito Muichiro, and Rengoku Kyojuro.

"Huh?"

The Pillars who had been transported to Infinite City didn't panic; they had already been exposed to Aomori's previous drama.

Due to their distance from Doma, Kanae, Iguro Obanai, and Uzui Tengen found themselves in separate rooms.

"This is Infinite City."

"It certainly seems that way."

"According to Aomori's information, when you enter Infinite City and don't encounter the Wind-String Demon, you should search for a pipa-playing demon. This demon has control over Infinite City."

"Then let's move."

They defeated the lower demons along the way while searching for Nakime's traces.

A similar situation unfolded for Gyomei Himejima and Tomioka Giyu.

Meanwhile, under Nakime's control of Mugen City, the Upper Moon One, Kokushibo, and the Upper Moon Three, Akaza, stood before Aomori.

Kokushibo, dressed as a swordsman, possessed six eyes and sported fiery red markings on his left forehead and right neck. His original name was Michikatsu Tsugikuni, the twin brother of the legendary swordsman Yoriichi Tsugikuni. He was once a swordsman of the Breath of the Moon style. In a bid to gain more time to hone his skills and surpass his unattainable brother, he turned into a demon.

However, even facing the 80-year-old, white-haired, and wrinkled Yoriichi Tsugikuni, Kokushibo, at the peak of his demonic powers, was nearly killed with a single strike.

Living in the same era as Yoriichi Tsugikuni, who seemed like a god reincarnated, was the greatest misfortune for the defeated Kokushibo.

Akaza, with short pink hair, golden eyes, and tattoos adorning his body, admired strength and despised weakness. He constantly sought formidable opponents to grow stronger but had long forgotten his initial reasons for pursuing strength.

Despite their individual grievances, both of these demons shared one commonality: immense strength.

Normally, such formidable beings would never deign to join forces against others. However, under the relentless pressure exerted by Boss Dan, they had no choice but to cooperate.

"With such feeble fighting spirits, you truly are weak. Take pride in the fact that you will die at the hands of the two of us," Akaza remarked.

Kokushibo remained silent, his arms crossed in an aloof stance.

As the fierce battle unfolded, Aomori remained undaunted. He brandished two Nichirin swords, ready to confront both adversaries.

Akaza initiated the attack, swiftly closing the distance to Aomori. He planned to begin with a barrage of punches but suddenly sensed Aomori in front of him. His fighting spirit surged like a majestic dragon.

"Uh-oh!"

Thunder Breath, Second Style: Rice Soul!

With a flash of his two swords, thunder erupted, and Aomori delivered five consecutive strikes to Akaza, who was retreating.

"Can't dodge... can't dodge!" Akaza could only raise his arms to protect his neck, but Aomori's sharp blades effortlessly severed his arms and struck his neck.

Ping!

At the critical moment, Kokushibo, who had been flaunting his skills, quickly raised his ghost blade, covered in numerous eyes, to block Aomori's lethal blow.

"You're quite formidable," Kokushibo remarked, now looking directly at Aomori.

"You're not too shabby yourself," Aomori replied.

With a sword clash, human and demon faced off. Kokushibo, honing his sword skills for three centuries, was evenly matched against Aomori. The Breath of the Moon battled the Breath of Thunder. In the midst of sword strikes and parries, Aomori held a slight advantage. Kokushibo bore numerous wounds, but these injuries posed no real threat to him.

On the other side, Akaza, who had survived Aomori's attack, was uncontrollably exhilarated after a brief moment of fear.

"Marvelous, marvelous! You are a powerful opponent I've never encountered before. I want to fight you, to battle!"

Under his formidable regenerative powers, Akaza's neck and arms swiftly healed. Stepping forward, he created a snowflake-like pattern on the ground.

"Expanding Technique: Annihilation Kill !" Akaza unleashed his full power, launching a devastating punch at Aomori. "Annihilation Kill: Ruin Style!" The wide-ranging attack aimed to obliterate Aomori.

Aomori, with quick reflexes, blocked Kokushibo and dodged to one side, while Kokushibo rolled to the other.

A triangle formed with one person and two demons.

"I'm Akaza, Upper Moon Three."

"I'm Kokushibo, Upper Moon One."

"Demon Slayer Thunder Hashira, Aomori."

After exchanging names, a new round of combat commenced. Despite facing a joint assault from Akaza and Kokushibo, Aomori held his own, resulting in an evenly matched battle. The outcome remained uncertain as long as no external factors intervened.
