"Leader, we're all set to go." Otto proclaimed, standing to the side with his chest out. 

 They were within the barracks with all militia present.

Wolfram's eyes swept across the group. "For today's mission, not all of you will be called to participate. I want to remind you all that in as much as multiplying our population is urgent, seeing that our current number stays fixed is even more important. That is why some of you will stay back and guard the settlement!"

His words were sharp, loud, and clear. 

Everyone inwardly nodded, wondering what team they would fall into. 

That's right. Like all missions they carried out these past few days, they knew they would be split into 2 teams; Team A and Team B. 

It's been a week since the last ranking-up competition. And though they were in a rush to upgrade their Settlement's overall status, they still spent this time scouting about the many villages around.
