Unable to resist the lure in front of him, Rowan attempted the kiss again. Wren waited patiently while Rowan adapted to the new sensation of being connected at the mouth as if he knew Rowan was in danger of being overwhelmed. The only thing that moved were the hands which relentlessly tortured his waist with feather-light caresses.

Wren's lips softened, urging Rowan to do the same. He copied the movement of Wren's mouth, enjoying the heat of their mingled breaths. Those merciless fingers began to roam, tracing a path up either side of Rowan's spine, and he shuddered in pleasure.

Rowan didn't know the first thing about physical intimacy or the proper way to kiss someone, but he knew their bodies weren't close enough to satisfy him. Without removing his lips from their prize, he threw one leg around either side of Wren's hips and rocked his pelvis toward the man's waist in an effort to relieve the growing sense of urgency that accompanied his arousal.
