Capítulo 24: FEELINGS GETTING BIGGER

David who heard that immediately shook his head, while Manu, who had been silent all this time, looked at the brothers and sisters in front of him and now turned his face to the other side with a smile.

"You never know how a man is, Celine."

"Hey, what do you mean?" Manu's brow furrowed. "Are you trying to explain that I'm a bad guy to her?"

"Then what's the problem with you?" asked David who was now looking at him with a raised eyebrow. "I'm just trying to keep my little sister from making the wrong choice."

Manu's brow furrowed immediately after hearing what the person in front of him had just said so now the man smiled wryly as he turned his face the other way before finally sighing with his arms folded across his chest.

Meanwhile, David looked back at the girl in front of him with his arms folded across his chest.

"You have to do what I say, or ..." The man looked at his sister with one finger pointing directly in front of Celine's beautiful face.

"Or what?!" Celine folded her arms with a flat and annoyed face before finally saying again, "Brother is mean to me."

Hearing what the person in front of him just said made David shake his head. He was also quite surprised by what he heard that he now bowed his head with both hands on his hips.

The atmosphere was suddenly quiet with Manu who also felt awkward after hearing Celine say that to his best friend who is his real sister. The man gulped for a moment before finally walking over to the two to help separate them.

"David," Manu called awkwardly. One hand patted the shoulder of his best friend, causing the person beside him to sigh. "Don't think too much about what she's saying, okay? I guess ..."

Manu turned his gaze towards Celine who was currently looking at him and David alternately. "Celine didn't mean to talk to you like that," he continued.

Then David immediately went to the car leaving Manu and Celine who were still silent in their place, making both of them who knew about this immediately sighed.

Manu looked at the open door, while a girl who was in front of him now lowered her head with tears in her eyes, even about to cry.

"Celine," called the man who was now looking at someone. His hands were on the girl's shoulders and then he said again, "You'd better apologize to your brother, okay?"

"But why?" Celine, who originally lowered her head, immediately looked up at Manu, who was currently staring at her, which made the man transfixed because this was the first time that they were looking at each other at this close distance. "I thought Big Brother David was always like this towards you, what exactly does he think of you? So far I've seen you're doing well."

Unknowingly, Manu pursed the corners of his lips after hearing what the person in front of him had just said, which made Celine, who saw it, immediately raise an eyebrow.

"After all your brother has a reason why he behaves like that to you."

Celine who heard it immediately turned her face in another direction before finally looking back at the person in front of her at this time.

"Then I'd like to hear from you. What do you think is the reason why Big Brother David is behaving like that to me?"

Manu's eyebrows immediately rose together with a smile that added to the charm of the man in front of him right now. He chuckled for a moment before he spoke again in response.

"Are you sure you ask me that?"

"Yeah, so what's wrong with that?" Celine looked at him with a furrowed brow. "Just answer, I want to hear directly from you."

"What do you think he did?"

Celine who heard that immediately sighed and rolled her eyes lazily before finally looking back at the person in front of her this time.

"You should be the one answering my question, why are you asking me back?"

"Therefore, the answer lies with you. So, why are you even asking me? You know it yourself, without you having to ask me."

After that, Celine, who knew this, immediately fell silent in her place with her eyebrows raised so that now the girl took a deep breath. She pondered what the man had just said so that she now sighed for a moment.

"Am I that wrong?" asked the girl with her head lowered before finally saying again, "But I didn't mean anything either. I was just trying to stop Bro David's thinking about you."

"He's like that because he cares so much for you, Celine. Even though I'm his best friend, still he won't let anyone hurt his beloved little sister getting hurt because of a man."

Then the atmosphere was quiet again with Celine who is currently still silent contemplating after hearing what the person in front of her just said so now the girl sighed with a nod of her head as if agreeing with Manu's words about David.

"Well, it's possible that what you said was true if Bro David did all that because he didn't want anything to happen to me."

"Good, if you do notice."

"But, what should I do now?"

"Why?"

"He must be really mad at me right now." Celine looked sadly at the person in front of her before finally saying, "Bro Manu, can you help me?"

"Are you sure David is really mad at you?"

Manu raised his eyebrows at the girl in front of him, while Celine, who knew this, immediately nodded her head.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure. I beg you, you can help me, right?"

Manu who heard it immediately sighed before finally, the man nodded his head so that now Celine who saw it immediately curled the corners of her lips into a smile with what she had just seen.

"Thank you, Bro Manu. I believe you are a good man."

Trying not to respond to the girl's words, but now Manu patted the top of Celine's head with a big smile. The man loved her very much, but slowly this affection gradually began to turn into a big feeling.

"At first I thought this was just an ordinary affection just because she is my best friend's sister," Manu paused in his heart. "But I was wrong, as time went on this feeling just grew bigger and bigger."
