Sebastian had finished changing into his martial arts uniform. He hurriedly headed outside to see if Reina was okay there. It turned out that many friends and fellow martial arts students were staring at Reina. Somehow Sebastian felt uncomfortable with this.
"What are you all doing here?! Practice hours have started!" One of the trainers bluffed everyone who was crowding to stare at Reina. They immediately ran away and did not dare to answer.
Sebastian was grateful the coach bullied them all before he got annoyed. Reina is beautiful and looks special with very attractive blue eyes, but that doesn't mean everyone can approach Reina casually. Sebastian knows that not everyone can treat a girl well. Sebastian is worried that a bad man will approach Reina. After all, the girls in the class as well as the school had begun to seem to dislike Reina's presence because she was considered a difficult rival in school life.
"Hey, I'm training first!" Sebastian said goodbye as he jogged.
Reina nodded her head in understanding. Then, Sebastian rushed to practice martial arts that afternoon. Reina watched from a distance and felt something strange in her mind. Seeing Sebastian who was training to the point of sweating, it felt very strange to Reina.
"Is it true that I like Sebastian? Impossible! That man is my cousin!" Reina said to herself while looking at Sebastian.
Confused that her heart keeps beating fast, Reina decides to look at social media on her cellphone and reply to some friends from old school who are looking to find out what happened to Reina. Surprisingly, Reina hadn't said goodbye to her old school friends and few people had called to ask.
Reina immediately replied to several messages from friends. It turned out that news about Reina's parents who were thought to have died in an accident and their bodies had not been found had spread in Reina's hometown. The message from Reina's friend also made Reina feel uncomfortable because she discussed the problem. Actually Reina tried not to think because she was always sad when she remembered her parents.
"Hello?" One of Reina's friends called when the girl replied to a message.
"Yes, hello."
"Reina, are you okay? I was at your house, but there was no one there. It's just something weird."
"I'm at my aunt's house. Weird thing? What's the matter, Jolie?" Reina was confused about what happened.
"I peeked into your backyard. It's disheveled in there as if someone had just messed up your house. I tried to enter through the street we usually use when your front door is locked, I saw a man like the mafia in action movies. Scary!"
"Hah?! mafia? Jolie, please don't come to my house again. I'm afraid something bad will happen because my parents haven't been found either. I believe that my parents are still alive."
"Okay, I won't be coming to your house again if you're fine there. Take good care of yourself, Reina."
After getting a call from a close friend, Reina actually felt wondering what really happened to her parents. At that time, Reina wanted to ask Aunt Shelena what really happened to Reina's parents. But the girl refused because Aunt Shelena was not friendly and it seemed impossible to tell what really happened.
"Papa, Mama, what exactly happened to you? I am very worried." Reina was confused by what happened to her parents.
In the evening, Reina and Sebastian arrived home. The two of them showered and changed before having dinner with Aunt Shelena. Aunt Shelena doesn't seem to like Reina who follows Sebastian in martial arts training.
"Why did you come with Sebastian earlier?" Aunt Shelena asked Reina with a look of disapproval.
"Sorry, Auntie. I'm not comfortable at home alone."
"Next time get used to it! Don't trouble Sebastian!" Aunt Shelena snapped at Reina.
"Mom, I invited Reina to come along. Don't get mad at Reina." Sebastian in an even tone intervened so as not to become an argument.
Aunt Shelena fell silent when her son told this. Aunt Shelena loved Sebastian so much that whatever the man said would be considered the truth. Surprisingly, Aunt Shelena didn't seem to like having Reina around them but still wanted to take care of her only for the sake of the inheritance left by Reina's parents.
After finishing dinner, Reina cleared the dining table and washed everything in the kitchen sink. Reina is getting used to all of this because she is not a spoiled child and is independent. Both of Reina's parents have been busy and often travel for business, so that Reina who is already a teenager is often alone at home. Therefore Jolie as Reina's classmate often comes to the house to accompany Reina.
After finishing washing all the dishes and cutlery, Reina walked upstairs to rest because tomorrow was still school. Surprisingly, Aunt Shelena had already entered the room and Sebastian seemed to have gone into the room as well. Reina stepped slowly towards the stairs to go upstairs. Hope Sebastian isn't waiting in the second floor hallway. To be honest, Reina was feeling awkward about all of this.
It turned out that when Reina passed Sebastian's room, the man immediately grabbed Reina's hand and entered the room and covered Reina's mouth who was about to scream in surprise. "Don't scream. I just wanted to tell you." Reina nodded her head to keep Sebastian's hand from Reina's lips.
"Reina, don't be sad if my Mama is like that. My mom is just adjusting to having you here. I'm sorry if my mother spoke too much." Sebastian spoke softly while looking Reina in the eye.
Reina nodded her head again and tried to break free. Reina's heart skipped a beat as Sebastian stared intently. Reina didn't want to be caught if she felt nervous and awkward about this. When trying to free himself again, Sebastian suddenly kissed Reina's forehead. What an annoying thing! It made Reina clumsy and her heart felt like it wanted to jump out. What Sebastian did always surprised Reina.
"I promised to take care of you. Do not worry."
Sebastian let go of Reina's hand and looked at the girl's face. Reina felt even more confused and awkward. "Yes thank you. Excuse me." Reina chose to leave immediately before getting even more embarrassed because of Sebastian.
That night, Reina couldn't sleep at all because she was still imagining what Sebastian had been doing these past few days. Did Sebastian really like Reina more than his cousin? Reina felt confused by all that because her heart also beat very fast when she was close to Sebastian. What shouldn't have happened, completely changed Reina's life and the way she saw the world.
