But suddenly, a voice was heard. The previous baritone voice sounded along with the girl in the mirror.
"You're eavesdropping."
Nada who was crawling felt her heart beating fast, instead of continuing out of the toilet, she stopped her movement.
Panic was the feeling she was currently feeling, of course, she was afraid! Especially the girl in the mirror who said 'they' would devour her body. This means that this opens up a great opportunity for Nada to enter the world that is in the mirror. Opportunity? To hell with that possibility because now her chest was pounding perfectly.
Nada could do nothing but sit cross-legged on the floor, even wanting to turn her body felt weak and unable to do anything to escape.
"Hey, turn around."
For some reason, her voice became softer. Make the fear fade. Nada slightly sighed, turning into a fairly regular breath. She tried to turn around, she suddenly dared to do so.
And yes, how lucky she was to be away from the glass, so if 'they' wanted to take her, they couldn't reach her because it was quite a distance away.
One thing that became Nada's opinion this time, the figure who invited her to talk was very scary. Yes, scary like 'them' creatures in general, which doesn't need to be mentioned anymore how their form is full of scary things. The difference is, this figure has a circle like an angel above his head.
Nada was still silent, not intending to answer because if someone were in her position, then that person would probably have fainted. She was silent just to strengthen her thoughts.
"You want to take a walk in my world? If you want, come in and I'll take care of it."
That figure spoke so convincingly, it even reached right through to the current world of Nada. The body of the sinister figure could indeed penetrate, but could not completely come out of the mirror because like a curse, they were eternal there and made a life that misled humans.
Nada of course shook her head. Although the mirror world is the same as the reflection of the human world, it still contains various kinds of hungry demons. Demons who eat humans without being based on an action that is where humans deserve to be rewarded.
What's so special about the chosen people, such as the Dutch woman in the red dress and several other victims, as well as Nada now?
No one has been able to explain it yet because the journey of a Nada is still very long.
"No, you must have brainwashed me. I would never want to go in there," Nada spoke as she leaned closer to the door, which if anything happened she could quickly escape from the bathroom.
"I never believed in demons, especially when you killed my lover."
Angry. There are so many lumps of emotion that are in Nada's body, causing feelings that seem to squeeze her heart, leaving a trail of pain, remembering the only special man in her life died before her eyes. She didn't know how they did it.
There was a devil's laugh.
'Right, right?' thought Nada who would never believe it.
Even though her stature is like an angel with a ring that glows above her head, it's undeniable that the figure of an angel certainly won't look ugly like that.
Nada indeed has a hunch, where there is a demon who invites her for a walk like a tour guide on vacation.
"I secretly wanted to taste the brain of a woman whose life was so miserable."
Nada raised an eyebrow, she stared at the figure angrily. "Hey! That's not true!"
"Having a stepmother isn't a good thing, hm? Tormented, never getting affection."
"Says who?!" cried Nada, disapprovingly. Even though what that figure said was the truth. Since living with the stepmother, it's been like being in hell. Her colorful life living with her father now turns gray when the seductive and abusive woman arrives.
"Better stay with us, we make physical suffering directly, but your mind is saved."
With a shrill voice, she stared at the evil figure who had become fearless. "Your world is an ugly word, don't expect you to enter my whole life."
"And this ugly world will be your world one day. It's an annoying curse because I can't cross into your world."
Nada slowly opened the doorknob, then opened it slowly but with a squeaky sound.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, an arrow landed right above her ear, managing to bleed out, even if it was only a little.
Nada's breath hitched, how could their bodies not completely cross over to the human world, while arrows could pierce through?
At that time, Nada immediately got up from her seat and came out of the bathroom in such a hurry that she forgot to bring back the tools that were still under the sink.
"AAAAAA MOTHERRRRRRRRRR!!!!" She shouted in fright, past the long mirror in her room, and saw a similar figure. But it turned out that it wasn't that figure who shot the arrow, but another figure whose face was so shattered that it was shapeless, but her eyeballs were still in place.
Run fast as if Nada is participating in a marathon. She just darted away, mustering all her strength to run as fast as she could. And yes, she was already out of the room with the door tightly shut making a 'BRAK!' sound. that boomed.
"Finally I survived... By the way, why did they find out about me so easily? Even though I've been trying so hard to hide. Their hearing is so sharp, gosh, I almost died."
Heaving a sigh of relief while catching her breath, she repeatedly recited many prayers in her heart to avoid this unknown creature.
Are they also humans who turned into demons? Or pure demons who transport humans JUST to eat?
She walked languidly down the steps of the house one by one with a very bad feeling, even now her body felt hot and cold.
"Quickly wipe the floor with a mop. And why are you screaming so loud that you look like you've just seen a demon? This is a house, not a forest!"
tuk
Just set foot on the ground floor, the handle of the mop hit her forehead making a sound. Nada grimaced, then looked at Bela who was looking at her cynically.
"Remember the agreement, you will be my slave at home as long as your course is finished."
"B-but, Mom—"
"There's nothing to protest! I want to go to the salon, I want to beautify myself so that your father will defend me more than his daughter."
Bela held Nada's hand but was knocked down so hard that her body backed away several times. "It hurts, Mom."
"SPOILED! And one thing to remember, don't bring anyone into the house without Mom's permission!"
"But, Mom. I'm afraid to be alone in the house," said Nada, remembering the moment the arrow almost landed smoothly on her head.
Bela rolled her eyes, then left Nada just like that, without saying anything.
Now, Nada is alone in a house that is not big but has a lot of free space. And now, she was alone and would naturally be stalked by 'them'.
"I'll call my friend, no matter what you say."
…
Be careful, the devil is stalking you.
