The first and second options are pretty similar but quite different at the same time.
In a sense, I could see that in the long term choosing the second option over the first one would be quite handicapping as it would reduce my potential by a lot, unlike if I began to learn how to use magic, mana, or whatever it is called.
The third one is quite good too, being able to make items would be helpful, whatever I will do especially if I come to acquire some interesting materials.
The fourth is... erh. Let's ignore it.
Fifth and sixth could be good, but I don't want to use technology when there could be more advanced technology out there nor do I want to depend on another entity, no matter its level of loyalty.
Seventh is most likely a peaceful path. However, I do not want to be peaceful.
I don't want to be a tree hugger, but a warmonger.

Let's focus back on what I have on my hand.
Using my finger, I pressed on the two starter packs chosen. Following my action, I received a series of notifications.
[Packs received: "Magic is everything!" and "Is it Minecraft?"]
Ain't gonna lie, I am quite excited.
Opening the first pack "Magic is everything" I waited to receive the items.

"Inventory...?" I asked aloud, uncertain.
Fortunately, a window opened and I could see the two items I received, feeling the first two slots of the inventory.
"Let's see what we have."
[Grimoire of Concepts [UR]
A grimoire that helps its soul-bound owner to manipulate concepts through the use of magic. There is a countless amount of spells contained in it. Some may require a high level of skill.

It does sound powerful. As expected from an [UR] item I guess.

I am no expert, but it seems like something that most would fight to obtain.
"Let's put it on first." I said to myself as I took the ring out from the inventory and put it around my finger.
Immediately, I could feel some kind of energy soar from within.
My eyes closed, as I was almost drowning in the feeling of power that was erupting and filling each cell of my body.
Opening my eyes, I could notice several changes.
I was surrounded by what I could guess was mana. It was flowing around me, its flow changing due to my movement.
It was exhilarating.

Taking a few moments to calm down, I sat down cross-legged on the floor.
"Let's open the second pack." I declared, the feeling of power still lingering within my body.
I hope that it won't go. It is addicting.

A series of notifications greeted me, making me unconsciously smile at the air.
I could also feel the mana in my body growing each second, due to the added intelligence points.
"Let's see what exactly did I got."

Can merge anything that is inanimated, lifeless in a greater and objectively better version. Be aware, the merged items cannot be separated.]

200 grams of one of the most powerful and useful metals in history. It gives several benefits to its host, as it bonds with them. Benefits include gravity negation, regeneration, self-sustenance, magic negation, recall, power augmentation.]
"Holy fuck." I swore, looking at the last material I received.
I took some time to calm down once again, trying to imagine what I could make with it.
"It may be better to wait for more useful materials." I finally concluded, closing my inventory.
My eyes darted to the side, in the direction of the door as some sound coming from the corridor outside drew my attention.
The voices were quite loud so I didn't have to focus much to decipher what they were saying.
"I said that it was over, you creep!" A feminine voice declared, anger in her voice.
"There's no one better than me, bitch! Stop trying so hard to resist!" Another voice, a lower-pitched one retorted.

While the reward was quite... strange. I have to admit being excited to use my newfound powers.
Summoning my grimoire in my right hand, I observed it for a few seconds.
It was a dark purple, with some white dots glistering all over.
I wanted to open it manually, but the pages simply flipped at high speed, lending on one page.
"Wow. I will fall in love with this book at this rate." I said, reading through the spell I was recommended.
Not wasting more time, the grimoire in hand I opened the door. My eyes fell on the sight of a redhead around 20 years old being pined on the ground by a man around the same age range.
Their eyes darted to me, the woman looking at me with hope, despite the tears flowing down her face.
The man quickly noticing the situation he was in, chose to intimidate me before going back to assaulting the poor woman.
Knife in hand, he waved it toward me before opening his mouth to talk.
"Go back in there bud, before I make you blind, deaf, and mute." He threatened.
"Who would have guessed?" I asked, curiously looking at his red eyes.
Drugs or alcohol? Whatever it is, did number on his mental capabilities.
"What do you mean?" He asked, surely unsure about his course of action. He probably would do more than threaten any witness at this point.
"God gave even a mindless beast such as you the mental capabilities to speak. Such mercy is inspiring."
"What did you say?!" At this point, he stopped pinning the woman, letting her free to back away while dressing as much as she can considering her torn clothes.
Rapidly and menacingly approaching he failed to hear my next words.
"Did you know? Suffering is a concept extremely cruel. Do you imagine what Jesus felt, carrying the weight of all of humanity's sins? Your sins?" At my word, my spell fell onto him, modifying the very reality in front of my eyes.
Mana moved in a precise pattern, simply to make him suffer the way Jesus should have felt, in my eyes.
Which is a lot.
"Haah-"
His cries of pain were quickly shut down as he lost consciousness, not a second after my spell was cast.
It is quite annoying to stop it midway, but it provided me with useful information about how this concept works.

For now, my gaze went to the woman that was hugging her knees on the side, quietly sobbing due to the obvious trauma she went through. Thankfully he did not have time to do anything besides tearing part of her shirt.
Stepping on the collapsed man while I'm at it, I walked toward her and kneeled to be at her height.
"Do you want me to call the police? Or do you need treatment?" I asked her, even though I wanted to be done here and find an efficient way to level up, I cannot leave her like that... Or could I?
"N-no... judging by his cries and wet pants I believe he won't do anything like that again... Beside I will have to call for my father to pick me up and he is a policeman." She said, trying to calm down.
"Okay then." I said, removing my shirt.
Seeing my action she was confused before starting to shake violently, probably thinking that I would be just like the previous no-name guy on the ground.
Thankfully she quickly stopped as I handed her the shirt.
She looked at it then at me with confusion before I pointed with my finger, the state of her clothes.
Her face took the same shade of color as her hair before quickly accepting the shirt.
I turned around, before pointing to my apartment.
"You can change in the living room."
"Thanks, for your help...?"
She looked at me with anticipation, which led me to think that she was waiting for me to introduce myself.
Which I did.
"Noah Ark, and you are?"
"Barbara Gordon."
