Eleonore’s POV

A choked gasp escaped me and before I knew it my hands were flying to my sides of their own accord. My stomach hurt so much from laughter that I had to physically turn myself away from Bastian at the other side of the counter.

Making eye contact with him was only going to make me laugh harder, so I tried to avoid doing that until I could regain my composure. If the librarian or even Robert saw me laughing so hard during my shift hours I was sure I would have gotten into trouble, thank fully neither of them were in the main area.

“And then the flash just went off!” Bastian continued his story of how he was subjected to an embarrassing moment earlier that day when a younger girl tried to take his picture without him knowing.
