Capítulo 168: Shooting practise

A little over a kilometre from the fuel station, Ray was forced to stop the car again. Meghan looked through the opening in the windshield and saw that there were a small group of Deathless standing in front of them, completely blocking their way forward. Meghan peered her eyes at the unusual sight. The only time she had seen Deathless huddled so close together was when they were part of a horde or were converging into a mound. But the group was far too small to be a horde and it wasn't late enough for them to form the mound yet. And yet, there they stood, huddled up together like a couple of sports players discussion their strategy.

"That's something we haven't seen at till now..." Said Ray, watching the group intensely.

"What do you suppose they're doing?" Meghan asked, turning towards him.
