"Who are you looking for?" someone asked Helena that just stopped in front of the door of the room where the word CEO was on the door.
Helena turned to the voice source. It was Delima. She knew that the woman worked as a secretary. The woman was in a room glass of walls.
The glass almost filled the front the room wall. Starting from waist height to touching the ceiling, even the door of the room was full of glass, while from the waist down made of cement and others were not transparent.
Helena understood the purpose of making the room near the main director's door. Like now, Delima could stop or ask people that wanna enter the main director's room. It's like this time.
"Looking for Mr. Bastian, this is very urgent!" replied Helena, showing an innocent expression.
Delima knew Helena well, even though she rarely saw each other. She knew Helena was not the type of person to enter another division's room if nothing needed. As she knew Helena preferred to be in her office or in a green open space behind the office.
Delima nodded, then she said. "I ask Mr. Bastian first," said Delima, who received a nod of approval from Helena.
"Sorry to interrupt, sir. Someone wanna meet with you from the administration division," said Delima after connecting the intercom.
"Okay sir," said Delima after a moment of silence.
Delima put the phone that functions as an intercom back in its place. Then she turned to Helena with her sweet smile.
"The boss said come in. But knocking on the door first as courtesy." Delima said, telling Helena.
Helena nodded again, then carefully knocked on the room door in front of her.
"Come in!" said the person there, shouting a little so that she could hear the voice out.
Helena glanced at Delima for a moment. After getting a smile and a nod from the woman, Helena pressed the doorknob, then pushed it to open. Helena slowly stepped into the room.
"Good afternoon sir!" said Helena. Closing the door carefully again.
Bastian nodded, then he raised an eyebrow when seeing the figure came into his room. At first, he thought Adam or Monica, the head of the administration division. In the fact, the little girl who a few minutes ago was still in the same car with him.
"Ah, you, what's wrong?" asked the boss, who was none other than Sebastian.
"Emh ... Sir, I leave my lunch in your car," said Helena, telling her the purpose of her coming to the room.
"Why not just this afternoon?" asked Bastian in surprise, because it was not just half an hour since their arrival.
"That's it, sir. My flash drive is in my lunch bag," answered Helena shyly.
Bastian exhaled, then opened the drawer under his desk.
"Come here," Bastian said, gesturing Helena to come closer to him.
Helena, who got the signal, immediately obeyed Bastian. She approached while hugging the folder that was supposed to deliver to the department.
"What's that map for?" Bastian asked as he took out something from the drawer.
Something shiny black, with a shiny white tip. It was the key of car.
"I wanna deliver it later to Mr. Cahyadi," said Helena nervously.
"ouh, do you know my car, right? You can take it yourself," said Bastian, holding out the key to Helena.
Helena was silent for a moment, her eyes staring at the key before she finally grabbed it. Helena's face reflected doubt until finally Helena spoke.
"Sir, are you sure let me open your own car?" Helena asked.
"So why?" Bastian even asked Helena again
"Well, I can do bad or take your car away!" Helena said.
Bastian laughed at Helena's statement, then Bastian replied. "A thief won't say a thief," said Bastian, still chuckling.
"well, get your things. You'll deliver the key later before lunch," said Bastian, waving his hand to push the young girl away.
Helena pursed her lips, then she left the room. While outside, she greeted Delima, before going to the Department's room to deliver the folder from Sonia.
The map helped her make an excuse for the fifth floor.
"I'm leaving, sir," Helena said politely after handing the folder to a man named Cahyadi.
In the elevator, Helena was alone. She remembered again the figure of the man who wrapped around Sonia's hips last night, then compared to the figure of Cahyadi she had met earlier.
"Ah! There he is!" exclaimed Helena, clapping her hands as she matched the two imaginations in her head into one.
She chuckled when found someone that she felt curious about since yesterday and directly got the answer right away.
"Hey Elena," said someone just entered the elevator from the second floor.
"Hey Alan, I haven't seen you in a long time!" Helena said happily.
Alan was the marketing review. It's been two months since he got an assignment out of town. It's a fun job, where Alan only went in and out of the mini market or supermarket to check product good in market or not. More or less, he was like a survey team.
"Did you miss me?" asked Alan, stretching his arms to Helena.
"Yeah, I miss you so much!" said Helena, hugging Alan briefly.
Alan and Helena were childhood friends. Alan lived in Riau, the city of Bangkinang, just like she was little until 9 years old.
Alan moved to Java with her parents for reasons of his father's job. They meet again after accidentally passing each other at the mall. At that time, Alan was walking with his girlfriend.
That day also Alan and his girlfriend broke up because Helena hugged Alan spontaneously. But Alan didn't blame Helena. He even said that he really wanted to end the relationship just waiting for the time.
After that they often met. When Helena graduated from college. Alan suggested Helena into the office where he worked. At that time Alan had worked at the company for 6 years, because Alan was studying while working.
At first, Alan was in the marketing department. He was part of traveling around promoting from one place to another. In the evening, Alan changed professions to be a student.
"I just came back yesterday. Oh yeah, I have a present for you, but I left it in the locker!" said Alan.
"Nina?" Helena asked.
"Yeah, she got it too!"
"Absorbed.."
