Capítulo 35: REUNION
LEO'S POV
"What do you mean?" I asked Ezra when she tried to stop me from jumping from the crest of the waterfall. She shouldn't have to stop me, Adelle is in danger I need to get her out of the plunge pool immediately.
I was so pleased when Adelle was born that I would do anything to protect her. Rina was overjoyed when Adelle entered our life. She's a gift...a miracle.
However, after Rina died. I felt like half of myself had vanished. However, Adelle protected me from the agony of losing Rina. She brightened my day. I pledged to myself that no one could ever hurt her and that I was prepared to offer her everything she desired...everything.
Adelle, on the other hand, is not like other youngsters who are just interested in material things. Adelle is unconcerned about this and only wants to be loved. Because she's his daughter, I'm sure the Marquess will adore her as much as Rina did.
