Capítulo 46: I Hate It

Evan Livares struggled to believe that his mother's theory was really right in Aviana's case! Though she personally told him that she didn't like Levi, it still felt so surreal to him at first.

Nevertheless, when he watched her struggling to explain to him, he thought of how hard it must have been for her if her life was really just the same as his mother said. He wanted to give her some comfort and he ended up showing her the face that said he understood her. It's not like he was lying.

He witnessed how her voice trailed off, probably in surprisement and confusion. It made him wonder if he was making the wrong decision.

"You don't even look surprised," Aviana pointed out, still feeling dumbfounded herself.

Evan Livares briefly thought about it and decided to be honest. "Actually, my mother managed to guess who you are through your last name. When she asked me if you're my girlfriend, I told her that you already have a boyfriend."
