Capítulo 28: Princess Vanessa

Iris learned about Scarlett's identity from other ladies in the gathering. According to that, Scarlett Orleans is the daughter of duke Leonard Orleans and niece of Vanessa's mother, and the current empress, Seraphina Bradford.

But she did not understand how any of this gave power for Scarlett to belittle the princess of this empire. 

Her questions were answered when Vanessa unexpectedly started telling about her family drama which by the way Iris found uncomfortable because this was their first meeting and the girl was ready to share her darkest secrets with her? But being a decent person, she did not interrupt and let her talk.

"My mother dislikes me for not being useful to the royal family. Brother Louis can use both light and water power from our parents, but I was never able to awaken my powers" A sad smile adorned her lips as she added, "I deserve to be hated I guess...."
