Capítulo 18: Chapter 18: The Gentle Haven of the Big Boss
Takeout? Cherish Turner was suddenly confused, when did he pack it up?
And such tempting food, is it really not that courteous?
"Or would you rather be sued and compensate me for the loss?" William Griffith's tone suddenly rose.
In her heart, Cherish hated him so much that her teeth itched! What kind of president is he? All he does is bully and exploit little women!
But without any choice, Cherish could only get into William's car. She had already decided that if William dared to mess with her, she would use her own skills to take care of him, and if all else failed, she would threaten him with her own life!
The heating inside the car was very warm. Lewis sat in the middle, with Cherish and William sitting on either side.
Thomas Harrison drove in the front and kept glancing at the rearview mirror.
It seemed that the boss truly felt differently about Miss Turner.
Deep Wave Mansion was a bit far from the city center and situated in the most luxurious villas area. The houses here were worth several billions, and not even every wealthy person could afford them.
The car drove all the way back to Deep Wave Mansion. Lewis swayed on the car and eventually fell asleep on Cherish's lap, sleeping sweetly.
Cherish looked at Lewis with a particularly soft gaze, feeling that the child was very lovable.
Upon closer inspection, this little guy looked just like William, both equally handsome!
"Never mind, he's still young, let him sleep like this!"
Hearing this, William smiled gently and said thank you.
Cherish felt that she must have been hit by a door in the head to sympathize with such an unreasonable president!
Finally, at William's villa, Cherish felt as if her arms were numb from holding the little guy all the way in and putting him on his bed. She then came out, swinging her arm.
Yet outside, she saw a table full of steaming delicious food!
It looked exactly the same as what she had seen in the restaurant earlier!
The big boss was busying himself in the kitchen, wearing an apron, and said with his back to her, "Start with the dishes, the soup will be ready soon."
Cherish looked at these delicacies and then at the big boss's gentle but firm back. Suddenly, she felt as if the world had become a fantasy.
