"Yeehhh! Uncle Roger, I won, and I believe I can beat the highest score here; let's play again "Anne smiled happily at Roger, who appeared to be oblivious to what she was doing.

"You said you were going to spend your time with me, Uncle Roger," she pouted, tapping him on the shoulder.

Roger feigned a smile. He was thinking about how to lie to her about his and Roger's meeting because Samson and his uncle had to be unaware of it.

"How about some ice cream? What flavor do you prefer?"

"Uncle Roger," Anne said, glaring at him. "Are you attempting to entice me back home?" She moved closer to him.

"What are you saying?" I had hoped to have a conversation with you there, but since you aren't interested, we can just go home." He sighed and shrugged his shoulders.

"No, let's talk; that's why I came here in the first place." She let go of the gamepad she was holding.

"All right, let's get started," They exited the gaming center.
