It had been hours since the incident and yet, Zeronis was unmoving on the bench just outside the emergency room. He had his head, buried on his clasping hands. He had been trying to tame the surge of emotion within his chest. 

The last thing he wanted to happen was lose himself in that crucial moment.  But damn it. It kept on coming back on his mind about what happened in the warehouse. He watched his men brought the almost lifeless body of Maria into the helicopter.

He was at the place where he felt that he can't do anything but to watch in desperation and praying to whoever was listening. To save the person that already got his world. What was the worst thing was the fact that her situation was due to him and the unresolved issues of their family on the enemies they created.

" Sir," Sebastian was the one who approached their boss who sat in the bench outside the emergency room where Maria was admitted hours ago.
