Maria turned to Zeronis and smirked at him. "I'm sorry for getting you…this worried."

"You left without a word."

"I have to since this op is urgent." Maria said and bent down to the old guy and inspected his wounds.

"You gonna pay for this." The old guy spat.

"Okay," Maria lifted her gun and hit the old guy in the head, sending him into unconsciousness. "I have to bring him to the headquarters. This guy got a lot to answer."

"Wait, him?" Althea was confused.

"Yeah.  He's the white mafia that I am tasked to target." Maria said and turned to the young man beside Zeronis. " If you don't mind us taking away old grandpa from here."

Xenon finally gained a bearing from everything that happened there. He then turned to Zeronis this time. "You're with her?"

"Yeah." Zeronis bent down along with Maria. "If you plan to bring him, he needs to get medical help. Though, these aren't fatal wounds, but blood loss could also cause death."
