Zeronis abruptly stopped the kisses and touched the part of his nape where he felt the prick of something. He then looked at her in disbelief as she distanced herself from him.

"Here's your alibi, black prince. You saw Takuna being knocked down by Lotus in the bed and you helped your 'good friend'. Maria emphasized with a smirk. "You tried chasing after me but you failed and ended up unconscious in this balcony as well,"

"Damn you. I-I could help you get out...the safe way." Zeronis growled angrily as he closed his eyes momentarily, trying to fight off the effect of the Curare from affecting him.

"It's too late. See you back at the hotel," she said and turned away from him.
