Capítulo 704: Chapter 704: Wanting to Escape

Upon hearing her words, Charlotte Cooper's heart sank instantly, realizing that her carefully crafted escape plan had failed. With no other choice under the threat and watchful eyes of the masked men, Charlotte could only obediently be taken back to the small, dark, confined room.

With a "bang!", the door resounded, and Charlotte was left alone in the room. She sighed, feeling powerless as she sat on the only chair in the room. Although she was caught and brought back, she hadn't given up on the idea of escaping again.

She forced herself to calm down and began to assess what was in the room: an old bed, a wooden table with an enamel cup for her to drink water, and the chair on which she sat.

What could she do...? There were at least two men outside the door, and even if she tried to rush out with all her might, there was no guarantee that there weren't more people guarding from a distance. And even if she were to escape, she had no familiarity with the surroundings here!
