"What?" Charlotte Cooper was somewhat shocked.

"It was in this morning's news. Last night, Lucas Martin didn't return to the hotel but stayed at another luxury hotel instead. This morning, when he came out, he was spotted by the paparazzi. They tried to shake them off, but ended up crashing into the barrier instead."

"How is he?" Charlotte asked.

"He's been sent to the hospital. It happened about ten minutes ago. Quite a few reporters are rushing to the hospital now. I also heard about it from a friend."

"Find out which hospital he's in, and I'll go there right away."

Charlotte looked at her elaborate costume and hung up the phone to talk to Director Noah.

She had scenes with Lucas Martin today, and since he wasn't there, she probably wouldn't have to shoot them.

As she approached Noah Johnston, she saw him on the phone. He made a hushing gesture and continued talking to the other party.

"Charlotte, what's going on?" Noah asked after hanging up.
