Jacob knocked on his father's office door and entered when he permitted him. He closed the door behind him and stood in front of the desk.

Damian asked his eyes on his screen:

"What is it?"

Jacob said:

"I just wanted to make sure you remembered that the Nye are coming for dinner in an hour."

"I do."

When Damian saw that Jacob was still standing there he looked up and asked:

"Do you have something to add?"

Jacob said:

"I love Elwyn it's not the same as with Atlas."

Damian smiled.

"I know that since you were sleeping with him while you were engaged to Atlas. Isn't that why you let me know about the fact that he was changed at birth?"

Jacob felt his heartbeat quicken. He didn't think his father knew that he was with Elwyn before they changed the contract. He swallowed and said:

"I only let you know because I know how important it is for you to get Nye Games."
