Capítulo 19: MISUNDERSTANDING
"It's not like that, I just don't want the misunderstanding to continue."

"What I mean is ... you always talk about Van and Via whenever you see me."

On the other hand, Via is currently on her way to her home. The girl along the way kept daydreaming about something so that someone who was beside her immediately spoke.
"Via, what are you thinking?"
The voice coming from the side made the girl immediately wake up, then turned towards the source of the sound before finally taking a breath and then turning her face back in the other direction with a shaking head.
"It's nothing, Dad. I just feel a little tired today," Via replied with a bent face. "I don't know what's happening to me right now, I don't understand."
"Well, if you feel tired, it's best when you get home later you just get some rest, okay?"
"Yes, Dad. Thank you," Via said with a faint smile. "You'd better do the same, because ... I don't like seeing your work too hard. You have to think about yourself too, especially your health."

Along the way John and Via just kept silent with each other, they watched the busy highway. However, for some reason, the two seemed to be thinking about something that could not be expressed to each other and ended up choosing to remain silent and keep everything to themselves.

Arriving at the house, the girl immediately opened the car door and got out first, leaving John who was still silently watching his daughter leave without a word the man now sighed for a moment before finally shaking his head.
"Via, I know that you are hiding something."
After that John decided to get out of the car and into the house, but before that, the man made sure the door was locked before rushing after his daughter.
When inside he saw someone he recognized was talking to Via so he who knew it smiled and walked over with that sweet smile.
"Via, are you still here?" asked John.
Via, who was talking to Mara, immediately turned to the side where the man was. The girl smiled and then said, "Yes, Daddy. I … accidentally crossed paths with mother, so ---"
"What's the matter with you guys?" asked Mara, who had just interrupted her own daughter's words. "Are you okay?"
What the woman had just said made Via and John immediately look at each other so now Mara who saw it squinted her eyes with her arms folded across her chest.
Her intimidating gaze made the two people in front of her immediately lower their heads and one of them cleared his throat to cover his nervousness.
"Yes, of course. We're fine, Mara. Isn't that right, Via?" said John with raised eyebrows.
"Yes, Mom. I and Dad are fine, so you don't have to worry."
Even so, for some reason, it was so difficult for her to believe what the man in front of her said that now Mara could only stay silent and sighed before finally turning her face in another direction.
"Well, if it's true that nothing happened between you two, you better get some rest. Oh, yeah, have you guys had dinner?"
"Yes," answered Via quickly which managed to make John surprised to hear what his daughter had just said. Then the man saw his daughter who was currently looking at him which made him speechless.
"Yeah, we had dinner on the way home," John said with a sweet smile to Mara who was looking at him with intimidation. "You have to trust us, Mara."
Mara who heard it immediately took a deep breath before finally speaking again.
"Yes, then you should go to your respective rooms," she said to which Via and John immediately nodded.
Until it ends with Mara who is currently watching her daughter who has already left, while John is still silent right beside her making the woman glance at him sarcastically.
"What are you doing here?" she asked.
"Why are you even asking? Of course, I was waiting."
"Waiting?" Mara repeated with a furrowed brow. "Who are you waiting for?"
"Of course, you are, Mara. I was waiting for you to come with me to the room."
Her eyes immediately widened before finally one of her hands covered the mouth of the man in front of her and said, "W-what? Shh, don't talk too loud, or someone will hear!"
Meanwhile, in front of him, John who heard it immediately raised an eyebrow before finally hugging the woman tightly.
"John, what are you ---?!"
"Let's go to the room, I already miss you."
Mara who saw it immediately sighed for a moment before finally turning her face to another direction with John who was currently chuckling while shaking his head for a moment.
"Yes, come on."

On the other hand, at this time Via, who was in her room, sighed, the girl looked at the balcony of her room with a sad gaze. She hated the feeling she had right now and she didn't know how long this feeling would last.
