Capítulo 45: don't disappoint me or else

"Yes of course,we are already friends, right Alex?" Ken hurriedly answered before Alex could say a word,he was scared Alex was thinking of a more vicious way to spoil the moment again.

Becky glanced at Ken briefly with a smile but still turned back to look at Alex, waiting for Alex's response,Ken was disheartened when his words weren't taken seriously.

"Like he said,we are friends already,so get going" Alex backed up Ken's words and even winked at her.

This action caused the young lady's heart to beat chaotically,she suddenly wanted to kidnap Alex and keep the latter for herself, she shook her head, quickly killing the thought since she clearly knew it was impossible.

"Then.....can I get your number? Ah! I meant both of you,yes, your phone numbers"she quickly corrected herself,she almost forgot there was someone else apart from Alex and herself inside the room.

After which she quickly took out her own phone which turned out to be an apple product, with sparkling eyes as she gazed at Alex's face.

Alex and Ken looked at each other and an embarrassed smile broke out on their faces because the two of them had clearly forgotten to take out the phones prepared for them by Henry, Alex's dad,out of their bags after they arrived at school.

Alex and Ken laughed at their own forgetfulness while Becky looked at them with confused eyes.

"Umm....we actually don't know our numbers,yet,we even forgot to take out our phones after returning to school"Ken explained to the confused Becky.

Becky giggled as she realized the reason for their sudden awkwardness,Ken laughed along with her,he couldn't help but admit that she looked more gorgeous when she laughed,even though she was older than him.

Alex on the other hand was a little surprised at how fast the girl became comfortable with them,she was even laughing so carefreelly,he just shrouded the weird feeling he was feeling and just smiled at the two laughing youngsters.

The notification from zero appeared as his mind scape and Alex's smile widened. He was very delighted to see that notification,he now knew he was just a few steps away from gaining control over his own emotions.

Alex and Ken fetched their devices from their bags and it turned out to be the same product as Becky's, although Becky said her status was not on par with the other girls didn't mean she was from a poor family like Ken.

She was just being targeted by those whose status was higher than her's.

Becky helped them with setting up their phones and also added her number on theirs,she also took theirs,she created a WhatsApp group and added the other two including herself as the only members of the group.

After which she finally left happily,she had wanted to hug Alex before leaving saying it was very normal but Alex firmly rejected,he did not know what would happen if she pressed those soft melons on him, although he wouldn't make a move on her,his body could react against his will.

Ken, who was hoping for Becky to still offer him the candy that Alex rejected, was aggrieved when Becky didn't give him a handshake and instead just waved at him, although he had a smile,his heart was bleeding.

After exiting the room, Becky easily made her way out of the male's dormitory without being spotted,she soon reached the crossed section point that separated the male dorm from the female dorm.

There seemed to be someone waiting, resting against the wall. The person was strangely wearing a black hoodie in school and his head was fully covered, making it impossible to see his face,but his voice didn't try in the slightest to hide his gender.

"How was it?"a deep male voice called out to her just as she was standing parallel to him, just a few steps apart.

"Fine,no issues" Becky said through gritted teeth,her happy expression instantly turned to that of pain and sadness.

"Good, keep it up, don't disappoint me or else.." he trailed off,not completing his words and quickly left through the stairs.

Becky had her head lowered as she made her way towards her room,her eyes were already blurry from the liquid gathering around them.

She locked herself in her room, climbed onto her bed,she curled up under the bed sheets as she began sobbing.

She took her phone out and looked at a certain contact information,she stared for some seconds and her eyes became moist again as she entered another session of tears while muttering a line repeatedly.

"Am sorry,I didn't mean to do it"

She kept on repeating the same sentence until she finally fell asleep off, while she was sleeping soundly,a dim blue orb rose from her body, its glow slowly brightened till it fully illuminated the enter room.

After an entire hour,the orb returned dormant again and finally fused back to her body.

The rest of the day was uneventful for both Alex and Ken,they took their baths and went to bed early.

Ken chose to read through the files that were given to him earlier since he was lagging behind others,he still read some books the school prepared for him.

Alex on the other hand didn't even bother his brain with complicated things and gave caution to the wind.

He soon slept off before he even realized it,he didn't even fight to stay awake, Becky had created some social media accounts for him but he was too lazy to check thus decided to Leave those matters for another day.

Early in the morning the following day,Alex and Ken prepared for class rather quickly. By 7 o'clock,they were already in their uniforms and already on their way to the cafeteria to get breakfast.

Both of them were still Juniors so their uniforms were the usual silver top, black tie and black pants.

Also, although the school had public bathrooms, each room still had their own bathrooms so no one got delayed because of others being inside the public bathroom.

Ken kept blabbing about how delicious the food provided by the school tasted. Yesterday he wasn't able to enjoy his meal before that incident took place.

After breakfast, The duo both went to their respective classrooms,Ken had already found the location of his class room from the file given to him by the old geezer.

So he declined Alex's offer to help him locate his class since he won't find it difficult to find it himself.

Alex didn't persist and was delighted instead,Ken just saved him from the stress and effort he would have used to walk him to class.

Alex quickly went to his own classroom,by the time he arrived, there were already five other students in the class,the students just glanced at Alex but soon returned to what they were doing.

Alex also didn't hold a grudge since he didn't seek attention either and just went over to his usual seat (old Alex's seat), which just happened to be at the end of the class by the window,Alex appreciated the old Alex's choice for once since such seat position would attract less attention (Alex 'back bencher' jeaga).
