Capítulo 38: incidence at the cafeteria

Alex sighed when he thought about that very incident of his past life, and although he had managed to fight off all of those cultivators on his own, he didn't find it easy at all.

He had used a forbidden technique that forcefully increased his stage to the seventh stage and the backlash from that technique left him with serious injuries for almost a whole decade.

"Hey, let's go get something from the cafeteria, I'm starving" Ken said in a low voice to Alex, he was fantasizing about what type of food would be provided by such a school.

Ken's voice managed to pull Alex from his thoughts.

"Mm, I am quite hungry too" Alex nodded in agreement and led the way to the cafeteria.

When they arrived at the cafeteria, they found other students who also came to get food, since it was still school season and not vacation yet, only Alex and Ken were the only ones who just arrived today.

Some students were lining up, waiting for their turn to get served, others were already seated, some in groups while others were sitting alone in a corner.

"Why are those students sitting alone over there?"Ken tugged at Alex's and pointed in the direction of the students, his eyes filled with curiosity.

Alex turned to the place Ken's finger was pointing at and his eyes flashed briefly before turning his gaze away.

"They are regarded as the losers in the school and don't have any value to the rest students other than a medium for others to vent their bad mood on, it's advisable not to get entangled with them because the others will treat you like them" Alex didn't add that he was once one of those losers.

Ken frowned upon hearing Alex's explanation, he wasn't expecting this type of thing in such a legendary school, and the teachers and school staff aren't doing anything about it.

They kept waiting in line and soon it was their turn to get served.

They had just found a seat to settle so they could eat in peace when one of the girls sitting at a different seat with a bunch of her friends stood up, she was holding a cup of juice that only had half its contents remaining.

The girl had black hair that was wrapped up in a ponytail with heavy makeup on. Ken was surprised to see a student wearing makeup in school.

The girl looked to be around seventeen, she wasn't beautiful and was just below average, still, she gave off the impression of a spoiled daughter from a rich family.

While Ken was in thought and Alex was not interested in what the girl was up to since such was a usual occurrence for the students, the girl with heavy makeup walked over to one of the students who was sitting alone.

She raised the cup in her hand and tilted its opening slightly.

Drip! Drip! Drip!

The juice slowly poured on the student sitting alone, her uniform, face, and hair soon got drenched with the juice yet she did not dare to raise a voice, she didn't even raise her head nor did she have the guts to leave.

She just sat quietly unmoving with tears streaming down her face as the whole content in the cup was emptied on her.

The girl with heavy makeup walked back to her group and they all burst into merry laughter while giving each other high fives.

They laughed and mocked the girl drenched in the juice while the brown liquid dripped from her long hair.

From the few words they said, it was easy to make out that the girl now drenched in juice was approached by a senior student who happened to have just dumped the girl in heavy makeup.

And since then, the pitiful girl's life had become hell because of the girl with heavy makeup and her group, even though she didn't accept the senior's request.

The other students in the cafeteria all looked at the entire scene unfold but none intervened.

"Why isn't she doing anything, it's not her fault that the senior fancied her more than the other girl, heck she's even more beautiful than her, that senior is a scum by the way, he should go eat shit" Ken said in an angered voice, be rose from his seat, planning on going over to stand up for the pitiful girl.

Alex grabbed his hand before he could even move a step and was pulled back to his seat "Don't try to be a hero now and don't insult seniors like they are just for show, I don't want to clear any mess you would create by then, and trust me, you don't want to get involved in this" Alex's warning voice made Ken grudgingly sat back.

Unfortunately for them, their small action didn't escape the eyes of the students in the cafeteria and they successfully drew over everyone's gaze towards themselves.

Everyone's gaze suddenly focused on Alex, some were surprised at how he had been in the cafeteria for so long without being noticed, others were shocked because they had thought the pretty boy had died in that forest and of course, others had a malicious grin on their faces like they just found their prey.

Alex sighed, feeling everyone's gaze on himself, he didn't know whether to cry or laugh at this"Great.. just great, just what I have been trying to avoid"

Alex wanted to leave as soon as possible because he could not promise not to hurt anyone if they pissed him off, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible anymore since trouble arrived before he could act.

"Hey, it's really Alex"

"He's really back, was"

" I thought he was lost forever in that place, am so glad"

" Alex let's have a walk and have a little chat, you might get a hug from big sister"

All the girls immediately crowded Alex and started saying words with seductive voices and filtering eyes. They were practically trying to seduce and tease Alex as usual, this was their usual routine and they could easily make Alex's wallet into an empty space within seconds this way.

Only that this time, the Alex that should have gone red that he would put even tomatoes to shame and have his head lowered did not react this time around and was just looking at them the way someone would look at kids bickering about.

[Such fake Acts, trying to seduce the host~, they look so ugly, eww] Zero's voice rang in Alex's mind, she was clearly irritated.
