In the end, Ken decided to put those thoughts away at the moment, he simply bowed and mumbled a 'thank you before exiting the office.
He was immediately greeted by the bored gaze of Alex who had been waiting for him outside the instance he closed the door behind him.
"What's your dorm number?" Alex asked indifferently, he almost sounded uninterested in whatever answer Ken had to give but still wanted to hear it, maybe to confirm something.
"Oh, hang on let me check" Ken realized he had not checked any of the information in the file that was given to him, he quickly flipped through and soon found the form containing his dorm information.
"I'm in room number two hundred and fifty and it seems I will be sharing my room with a roommate" Ken looked up to meet Alex's lazy eyes since the latter was a little taller than him.
Alex sighed as he lifted his body from the wall.
"I did expect dad to do this, seems like he managed to change my roommate, welcome to the light wings college 'roommate'" Alex said softly.
" Ok, that's enough chit-chat, let's go settled down, I am tired" Alex waved his hands and started moving, and Ken quickly followed closely behind him.
They walked the stairs all the way to the fifth floor, after passing through many different sections and passages, they finally located their room with the number two hundred and fifty written boldly on it.
They easily went in since Alex already owned one of the keys, the other key which used to be in the possession of Alex's old roommate was in the file that Ken received a while ago.
Ken could see that the room was a two-person room after he finally stepped inside it, everything was in pairs, two beds, two reading tables, and two chairs, the only single thing in the room was the tall wardrobe, which still turned out to be a two sectioned wardrobe in the end.
Alex was already familiar with the room since the old Alex stayed here and the memories were still with him, he just went and jumped into his bed, the one the old Alex used before, that was after he dropped his bag inside the side of the wardrobe where his stuff was since the two beds were same in quantity, there wouldn't be much difference whether he changed bed or not.
Ken on the other hand arranged his things carefully on the empty part of the wardrobe before going to lay down on the only vacant bed
"Why didn't we use the elevator? Climbing all those stairs was so tiring, I was completely exhausted."Ken complained after finally getting the chance to relax his tired body, all the climbing was more tedious than survival training for him.
"The elevators are for senior students and staff only, we are still Juniors so we are not allowed to use them yet, that's one of the benefits of being a senior"Alex grumbled in response to Ken's complaint.
Although he wasn't tired, he was irritated by so many stairs. He found it slow and boring, even though the elevator was also slow for him.
"Wait, hold on a sec, do you mean to say that I would have to use those stairs every single day until I become a senior student? isn't that like three years from now?" Ken sat up with a jerk, a grave expression on his face, he was already out of breath, and with this new information, he felt his soul would soon be leaving his body to study elsewhere.
"Relax, you would soon get used to it though" Alex wanted to laugh at Ken's reaction to his words but still chose to comfort him because he knew that those stairs were a serious pain to deal with.
Ken slumped back into the soft bed, staring at the ceiling with dead eyes, his heart stiffened from imagining himself using those stairs for good three years, his life was over, yes, maybe he should just send himself to the circle of reincarnation by himself.
"Damn it!!" Ken cursed out loud.
Alex didn't react to this and just slept flat on his back with his hands behind his head while his eyes were closed.
Seeing Alex resting peacefully, Ken pondered whether or not he should ask the question in his mind, in the end, he could not contain his inquisitiveness and finally decided to ask away.
"So what's up with that man outside earlier? do you perhaps know him?" Ken turned his head over to Alex and asked, curiosity was killing him.
Alex's eyes slowly opened but he didn't look at Ken, instead, he kept staring at the ceiling.
"Harrison '' he called the name coldly and a short pause prevailed but through to its description, it really was short as Alex continued some seconds after.
"His name is Harrison, he is a senior and I advise you not to cross paths with him, he's a troublemaker and a petty one at that"Alex replied with a sneer.
" But he sounded friendly earlier, I didn't notice any bad intentions from him" Ken argued, he was confused at Alex's words and tone.
He somehow felt that Alex hated the other party to his bones.
"That's a trap, he faked it and you didn't notice because his act was too good for you to find any suspicion, don't worry yourself about it, you just came to the school, you will soon realize that most students even teachers are scums, detestable scums" Alex said as his tone became more sinister.
Ken looked at Alex and blinked, completely unaware of the Aura that Alex was currently releasing from his body.
He decided not to say anything and not bother Alex, he should really not bother himself about such matters, he should just keep his distance, as long they weren't close to him, no problems should occur, right? He couldn't do anything about it anyway.
Alex who now had his eyes closed was still thinking about what those seniors and even classmates did to the old Alex, bullying was something that Alex wasn't a fan of even though he was strong, he never for once bullied the weak.
Alex couldn't help but think of what had happened in his past life when he was only a six-epic stage cultivator.
