Asher exhaled.

"Okay, I guess I am getting another human being I am going to be responsible for…Yay me!" Asher said sarcastically.

"Oh come on, give your mother a kiss. I love you"

"I love you too"

Asher hugged and kissed her cheek. He held the door and she entered. He watched as she drove away before he walked away.

Pepper watched everything from the car she was in. She didn't hear a word of their conversation but they weren't exactly subtle in their affection for each other. She didn't know it would sting as much as it stung now, seeing her husband kiss another woman's hand and cheeks like she was a Princess.

She waited to make sure that he was gone before she drove away.

Great! Now she was also those kind of women who spied on their spouses….the annoying kind.

Pepper stayed a few more minutes beating herself up for coming to Heather and Lux before she drove back to the office.
