"How was your sleepover with your hot ex-boyfriend, Ella?" My best friend asked me right away after I closed the door of our suite room.

"It was the worst sleepover I ever had in my entire life, Val," I said, and she looked at me with a wide grin on her face.

"Come on, Ella, I am your best friend, and you don't need to hide how you feel, and you can tell me what happened between Archer and you. I know you wanted to keep it a secret from me." Valerie responded, and I furrowed my forehead.

"You know I will tell you everything, Val; I hated Archer for feeling so confident that I would serve him. I couldn't believe he wanted to have dinner with me tonight at our favorite place when we were still dating." I said as I collapsed on the bed beside her.

"That is good news; it is a good sign, Mariela; I already told you he still likes you." She responded.
