Capítulo 30: Knowing a Truth
Tok.... Tok... Tok....
Kendrick had knocked on Fiona's door several times. But no one opened it either. Fiona's Mother and Father are at the Restaurant this afternoon taking care of it. Meanwhile at home there is only Fiona. Kendrick kept knocking on her door repeatedly until Fiona finally came down the stairs. But before opening the door, Fiona peeked through the window to see who had come to her house this time.
"Kendrick? Why is he here? He knows I'm going to Canada today. Or maybe Kendrick knows that I'm not actually going to Canada today?" Fioan thought in her heart.
"Fiona. It's me Kendrick. Open the door Fiona. You're in the house right?" Kendrick shouted. But Fiona still doesn't want to open the door to her house for Kendrick.
"No. Kendrick can't know that I'm still here. You can't," said Fiona in her heart.
"Ah, where is Fiona. Or maybe Fiona has already gone to Canada? Then the foot that Jane gave me? I have to prove everything myself. I have to go to her parents restaurant now," thought Kendrick in his heart.
Because Fiona didn't open the door either, Kendrick finally chose to go to Fiona's Mother and Father Restaurant. He will find out the truth himself. Fiona, who had not heard the knock on the door anymore, had the courage to open her door.
"Thank God. Kendrick finally left here too. I hope he doesn't come here again. But what made him come here, right? All he knows is that I've been to Canada since this afternoon," thought Fiona.
Fiona was relieved that Kendrick had left her house. In fact, Kendrick is currently looking for the truth about Fiona. Especially with what Jane and her two best friends had said to him. Kendrick immediately went to Fiona's parents Restaurant in Yogyakarta. But Fiona's Mother and Father weren't there.
"Sir. Sorry, I want to ask. Is there anyone who owns this restaurant?" Kendrick asked one of the waiters there.
"There's no more, Sir. There's something out there to buy. What do you need?"
"Oh yes. So I'm a friend of the daugher of the owner of this restaurant. I want to ask Sir. Has the owner of this restaurant moved to Canada again?"
"Canada? Why have you asked twice today about this problem? Three women who claimed to be Fiona's friends also asked the same thing."
"Yes, Sir. Just answer. Is it true or not?"
"No, Sir. Non Fiona and her parents moved here from Jakarta. They moved from Jakarta and set up a restaurant here. They've never been to Canada. And now they're still here. They're just here outside."
"Oh that's right. Well then, thank you very much, Sir. Later when Fiona comes here, say hello from me, okay. I'm Kendrick."
"Oh yes, Sir."
After learning everything from the waitress at the Fiona family's Restaurant, Kendrick immediately decided to get out of there. Kendrick still can't believe that what Jane and her two best friends have said is true if Fiona and her family don't go to Canada today. In fact they all have never been to Canada all this time.
"So what Jane said is all true. Fiona has lied to me and the others. But what does she mean by doing all this? Or could it be that Lukas has never been to America. He also lived here from the start just like Fiona? Ahhhh, why Fiona lied to me," Kendrick thought in his heart.
Then after that Kendrick took his cellphone which was in his pants pocket. Kendrick immediately called Lukas to discuss the matter. And luckily Lukas would pick up the phone from him. Because all this time, Lukas and Kendrick actually never got along.
"Hello. I want to talk to you. We will meet at a restaurant near the beach. Now."
Kendrick only spoke like that to Lukas. Then the phone connection is turned off. Kendrick went straight to the place he had told Lukas earlier.

Because the distance between Fiona's Restaurant and the Restaurant where Kendrick and Lukas promised was not too far, now Kendrick had arrived at the Restaurant. But there is no visible bridge of Lukas's nose.
"Where's Lukas? It's been a long time," thought Kendrick.
It wasn't long before Lukas finally arrived there.
"Kendrick. Why did you ask me to come here? What are you talking about? How important is it?" Lukas asked.
"Come on, I don't want to talk to you much. What's the matter with you and Fiona? Why are you two moving here at the same time like this? Why?"
"What do you mean? I've already explained it to you. The cave was originally moved to America. But because I have a language barrier that's why I moved here."
"Don't lie to me with you."
Kendrick immediately threw a punch in Lukas's face. Lukas, who did not accept it, immediately taught him again.
"What do you mean by playing beat up the cave just like that?"
The fight began. Kendrick and Lukas fight both of them vent their emotions at each other. Luckily someone had the courage to separate the two of them. Until now Kendrick and Lukas are no longer fighting each other. Kendrick left the place. Likewise with Lukas.
"Watch out, Lukas. I'm not going to stay silent like that," Kendrick shouted before leaving the place.
Kendrick got into his car and left the Restaurant. Kendrick will return to his inn with the rest of his friends. When they arrived at the inn, Jane and her two friends had been waiting for Kendrick's return there. Jane who saw the battered Kendrick immediately approached him and was very worried about his current state.
"Kendrick. What are you doing? Who have you been fighting with Lukas?" asked Jane.
"I just met Lukas."
"What? Lukas? What are you doing with him again? It must be because you already know Fiona and Lukas's lies right? It's okay Kendrick, you don't have to worry about Fiona anymore. She already lied to you. I don't want her to lie to you again and you're hurt again."
Kendrick didn't answer Jane again. He immediately left Jane to her room.
"Kendrick... Kendrick...," called Jane who was just ignored by Kendrick.
