Capítulo 73: Sister sleepover

** Abigail's POV **

Wait a minute? Did I just hear Rhian correctly? Did she say David has kids? Where are they? Why didn't he mention them? Is that the real reason he doesn't want to be with me? David must not have realized what Rhian had said. Or he was too drunk to care. Either way, someone was going to have to talk to me.

"David, is that true?" 

"Hmm, is what true?" His eyes looked heavy, and despite being upright, he was wobbling and swaying. 

"Do you have children?" I asked pointedly and direct. 

"Who told you that?"

"That doesn't matter, is it true?" I moved to stand up and get closer to him.

  "Yes, no, well, I think so? But you aren't supposed to know that. I didn't tell you that. Who told you that? I wasn't ready to tell you. I wanted to find out more first. I didn't want you to run if you knew I maybe possibly had kids. I really don't even know. I mean, I kind of really hope I do. Except, they have no idea who I am.
