Saeko was panting and breathing heavily after her little fight with Akira. He just dodged her attacks and used a long nail to stop the attacks from <Sanguinary Blade>.
Saeko- "I-I can't believe it.. Even with such a blade i can't even touch you.." She panted.
Akira- "Well yeah, you sure are strong for a human. Continue training and one day you could make me use another 1%.. Maybe two to three billion years of training~"
The three devil girls laughed silently because Akira was clearly making fun of her.
Saeko glanced at the blade once again. After going through this living hell of zombies, she realized how weak and unprepared she was for such a thing. Not only that, but after fighting against a strong opponent, she saw how weak she was against people like Akira.
Not only that, but it also turned on her sadistic side.
Saeko- "You can have your blade back, I'll make sure to become strong enough to face you once again and repel any threat like this one."
She handed Akira the blade but the blood just became fluid once again and splattered on the ground.
Akira crossed his arms and smiled faintly. He looked with an analyzing eye at Saeko and revealed all of her stats.
Akira- "Yeah.. Sorry to burst your bubble but there's no way you'd be able to become stronger with such conditions."
Saeko- "What do you mean by that?"
Akira- "You seem to have been practicing the blade since your early age, and you are clearly a prodigy, but you have reached a point of power were you need more than practice, you'll need experience. You'll have to fight dangerous opponents in real battles, and cut a neck or two by the way."
Saeko started thinking deeply about what Akira just said. If she had really reached a point were practice is futile, then Akira was right. In order to become stronger, sacrifices must be made.
Saeko- 'I need.. To fight strong opponents? Also, kill?' She thought with insecurity.
Akira- "Sure it may seem a bit overwhelming for a human, but if you go for it, you could evolve to something far more stronger than a human, and then it will feel completely normal."
Akira said that and he immediately started walking away. The three devil goddesses followed him and the humans were left alone thinking about what to do next now that's everything's mostly back to normal.
The sun rose, it was the start of a new day.
(...)
Akira and his lovers went to a city in Japan which did not suffer from the outbreak. A luxurious sector where resided the richest households and most known brands.
The four looked around in admiration but it still was not as good at Akira's <Infinite Castle>.
Testarossa- "This is quite the place, for humans."
Carrera- "Yeah, but i think it could use some redecorations.." She said as she summoned a small destruction orb.
Ultima slapped Carrera's hands and made the spell disappear.
Ultima- "No need for that now.. Unless Akira wants to have some fun~" She said.
Akira stretched his hands and rested them behind his neck.
Akira- "I'm quite tired after all these events.. First we land in an AU of Japan and after we face creatures from 'Dead by Daylight'.." He said.
Testarossa- "If it is as you say Akira, then we have to go somewhere and rest for our next dates~"
Carrera- "I fucking agree for once! Let's take a nap. A long nap!"
After some travelling, the four entered a highly rated establishment, and soon they were greeted by numerous butlers and even the Hotel's manager.
He was a tall, handsome looking man in his thirties with black hair, brown eyes, a beautiful hairstyle and expensive clothes, he was clearly a foreigner from the USA who had came to establish his business in here. The name of the hotel in question was "Four Seasons" which had rang some bells in Akira's head.
But who wouldn't do so? Akira and the girls entered the hotel with quite some luxurious clothes.
They had their little discussion with the manager who did all his best to not offend these VIPs, he gave them his phone number in case they needed anything and they were soon given the keys to the most luxurious Suite in the hotel.
But before that, they went to the café in the hotel to refill their hunger.
They sat at the luxurious café where they ordered some desserts. They were soon served by the waiters with the most expensive and delicious treats, though they still weren't as good as Akira's food.
Carrera- "Jeez, this isn't as good as YOUR food Akira.." She said looking at the food with disgust.
These words made an arrow pierce Gregory's (The Manager) heart.
Testarossa- "I'm.. Disappointed." She said with a sad expression.
This made the manager feel insecure and stressed out.
Gregory- 'Just.. What kind of food do they feed to these people?' He thought with sadness.
Akira had actually listened to Gregory's sad thoughts which made him chuckle a bit, Gregory raised a question mark on his head, and Akira removed that laughter.
Though, unlike the other girls, Akira was enjoying this food. It reminded him of the unobtainable luxuries he had dreamed of having in his first life.
After tasting the most delicious treats, they went to their room where they were greeted by numerous butlers and maids at the door. Akira opened the door with the key he was given and they were immediately greeted by an absurdly luxurious room filled with all kinds of furniture that was worth thousands of dollars each.
Testarossa walked up front and glanced at the place.
Testarossa- "Hm. Not bad for simple mortals." She said looking at the mirror and at her reflection.
Ultima- "Ooh! The bed looks so comfy!!" She said.
Ultima jumped on the bed and bounced on it while giggling.
Akira however, sat on a comfortable chair and thought.
Akira- "Talking about 'Dead by Daylight', what year are we in this AU? Is the Tensura novel even out?" He mumbled.
Carrera looked at the menacing Akira and his mumblings.
Carrera- "What's all that about Akira?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Akira- "Reflex!"
He threw a book at her which she effortlessly caught.
Carrera glanced at the book and analyzed it.
Carrera- "What's this shit?"
Akira then gave a book to the two other demonesses.
Akira- "Read the titles."
They did as he said.
Carrera- "Akame.. Ga kill?"
Testarossa- "This one's entitled 'Danmachi' "
Ultima- "Oh! It says 'That Time i Got Reincarnated As a Slime!' "
Akira smirked then replied to them.
Testarossa, Carrera and Ultima glanced with a bit of a surprise at the books Akira had just given them. These in fact were light novels each one being of a certain anime.
Akira- "Those i have given you are all the informations you need to know about the other worlds I'm planning on visiting. Our world is the book on Ultima's hands entitled 'That Time i Got Reincarnated As a Slime' or 'Tensura' for short."
Ultima opened her mouth wide open in shock and began rumbling her thoughts. She slowly opened the book and began reading it with insane speed. She did possess [Thought Acceleration] which let her read hundreds of pages in a second.
Carrera threw away her book and ran at Ultima.
Carrera- "Hand over! Right now!!" She yelled.
Ultima just dodged her attacks by jumping, crouching and sliding while still reading with the same speed.
Ultima's face became bright red and her eyes became literal stars as she ran over the pages like breakfast.
Ultima- "H-How can someone other than Akira... Know so much about me??" She asked in concern while going through the 12th Volume containing the information about her and her two other friends.
Carrera raised her hand up and swinged it across Ultima's hands.
Carrera- "Fucking HAND IT OVER!!"
Carrera grabbed the book from Ultima's grip but she had already finished reading everything a second ago.
Carrera read it a bit slower than Ultima but she was also shocked by the author's omniscient point of vision. Testarossa however, had read it in less than a microsecond just by following the reflections of the papers on Ultima's and Carrera's shiny eyes.
Testarossa- "This sure is fascinating.. Though i don't understand why would I serve a slime..
*She got closer to Akira*
--When i can ber serving under you Akira.. The old me must have hit her head to serve under a lowly slime."
Carrera trembled while holding the book.
Carrera- "Who made this? WHO FUCKING MADE THIS??!" She screamed with anger making the Tensura novel slowly corrode and turn into dust.
Akira- "Irrelevant who made it, the point is that now you're completely invincible when it comes to plot. I invite you also in reading the other novels, but you can pass if you're more into suspense."
Carrera stepped forward, a few inches away from Akira.
Carrera- "It does not matter who we'll see or when because we'll crush them like the miserable insects they are." She said wickedly.
Akira- "Yeah i think that with your current power level, you are definitely unbeatable in most worlds."
Carrera grinned then laughed arrogantly.
Akira scratched his head.
(...)
While the four powerful beings were discussing their next moves. Japan was going back to normal after having the three girl clean up the whole country and harvest all the souls they come across.
Takashi and his friends spent the night at Saya's house which was a huge mansion that could house the five teenagers in all comfort. But Saeko wasn't feeling too well these days.
This zombie outbreak had shown her how weak she was in front of a real threat. She had almost led her friends to a certain demise if not for Carrera intervening.
She didn't stop recalling what Akira had told her about gaining experience and what it took to actually earn it. Her instincts and pragmatic side were currently having a great battle trying to decide what to do next.
It was dawn and Saeko was sitting beside the fountain outside of Saya's mansion, losing her thoughts at the beautiful sleeping sun and the summer breeze gently caressing her slender skin. This anime was in fact an Ecchi which made of Saeko Busujima a bombshell for her age.
'Am i really weak?' She thought.
She recalled the moment they were effortlessly saved by Carrera.
Saeko hardened her fists and grit her teeth.
That simple moment was an enough answer to her. Seeing how Carrera didn't even save them on purpose from a life ending situation was a clear and quick response to Saeko's mumblings.
"I don't know what to do anymore." She said gripping into her palpitating heart.
She put a second hand on her heart and started listening closely to her strong heartbeat, animating her instinct for survival and desire for praise. The envy of getting stronger and the shame of feeling weak.
Saeko stood up. She took her katana and started walking away from the fountain, until reaching the exit in the park of the mansion.
But before she could definitely leave, another person came running towards her. Takashi it was, he stopped and took a long breath.
Takashi- "Where are you going Busujima? Aren't you going to stay with us?"
Saeko tried to avoid eye contact, it was easier that way.
"Sorry, but now that everything's back to normal, i have to go."
Takashi- "Are you serious?.. I thought we would stick all together, even if the outbreak is over, at least in Japan.." He said naively.
No response.
Saeko continued walking away but slowly.
"I have to go now."
Takashi was getting worried by Saeko's attitude, he tried to catch her but she would only dodge his grips. It started getting annoying because he was too sticky, Saeko was setting angry and gripped her katana, she wanted to scare him, but instead she shook those thoughts and ran away.
She believed that her sadistic side did not belong to this world. It was time for a new experience.
