Capítulo 16: Chapter Sixteen: Michelle's Power
"I'll hold your hand." Michelle declines the offer by slapping Klien's hand out of her way. She can handle herself, just because her power becomes weaker or broken does not necessarily mean that she is weak. She studied, learned, and master any martial arts she can do. Michelle just did not depend on her power to predict and see the future.
She knows someday their borrowed power will once again be taken from them.
"Careful Michelle."
"I do not need you to remind me, Klien. I can handle myself." She even rolls her eyes on her secretary. She follows their guards, not minding Klien on her back and focusing her mind on meeting her father.
"Where did you see him again?" Michelle asked one of the guard that was near her.
"We saw him deep inside the forest, but did you hear about it? Wait, you must know about it since you can see the future, your highness." Michelle just nod her head and did not say a word. "The largest dungeon that opened up in our town, Gyrendo." She listens quietly as they keep ongoing deeper into the forest.
"It was said that it has been opened for years now- " Michelle cut the guard, "Years?" She asked. It's been years yet she never, not even once, sees that dungeon?
"Why are you so shocked, your highness? You must have heard about it long ago but decline to tell it to everyone and decided to take care of it on your own." Michelle's head hurts by what the guard says. That's what everyone in their town expects, but not to her or Klien.
They knew that truth that can not be discovered.
"Yes, please continue," Michelle command. The guard nod its head before continuing his story.
"And years ago, no one thought that it was a dungeon. It was said that it looks and feels just exactly an ordinary cave. There are no unknown species coming out or living inside." The guard stops to let her go first since they have to climb a fallen tree that becomes a bridge since there is a small river inside the forest.
When Michelle gets to the other side, she helps the guard to pass by and Klien, who's the last, before signing the guard to continue. "They even said that they use the cave as a shelter when a huge earthquake and rains happens in our town."
"You mean the two disasters that happen to our town in one day? That happens two years ago." The guard nod its head. "That was it, your highness." Was that disaster the one that trigger an ordinary cave to become the largest dungeon?
"Where did you get this story?" Michelle asked. "From the ginseng digger," the guard answered.
"Where are they? No, are they still alive?" She asked. When the guard nod its head, it puts ease on her.
"And what happens?"
"The ginseng digger's family came back to the forest after the day that the three ginseng digger all become sick. They came back and see that the cave becomes a dungeon."
"They feel the magic that surrounds the entrance?" The guard nod. It's been two years, she thought. Everything is finally being fine, that was she was hoping for. Late to realize that her power is giving up on her.
She was gifted at the age of seven. She was earlier than the rest of the population, and the very first thing that she said after receiving her power, is that a huge calamity will be coming.
No one believe what she is saying is true, but after days and days of random words that came out of her mouth. Random people being saved to a tragedy by her words. They starts to believe and accept that her power is to see the future. But no one believe what she keeps saying to everyone.
That the world will come to an end and it will be ended by a single man.
Michelle just did not say it before because she wants that thing to happen, but she already saw her mother died. She does not want to accept it, but that is the truth; she does not know if it will be a great decision to change the future or there will be a greater consequence that has to be paid.
Michelle realize, that the moment that tragedy happens to their town that makes them lose their queen and prince. That was also the starts on how mess her power is right now.
The disaster ruined her eyesight for the future, like it was to prevent her from seeing a greater disaster that they wanted to protect. What if that is it... but what is it?
The three of them are knocked out as they just lay on the ground. The sauce of the spicy chicken was still in the corner of their lips as they just finished eating the whole bucket.
Taehyun stood up and walk pass by Klien's face to reach the bathroom as he feels how much water he need to release. A groan from Klien echoed throughout the entire room.
"Hey Byuntae! Do you really have to walk pass by my face? Do you think I enjoy seeing that naked body of yours? Ugh!" Klien sits himself up and glare at Taehyun.
"Not my fault that your head has to be in a way to go to the bathroom, and to tell you, everyone enjoys seeing my body. Just look at these muscles I made, my abs, look at how sexy I am. This is all the hard work I did for the past two years." Florian laugh as he was looking at Taehyun who's feeling himself so much, while Klien looks at Taehyun like he was looking at the most disgusting thing a person can imagine.
"Just use the bathroom already! Am not happy seeing that shitty body of yours!" Klien even kick Taehyun's ankle to shoved him inside the bathroom.
"If ever a girl in her skirt pass by my face, I would become the luckiest man alive, but that pervert gives me the worst!" Florian shakes his head as he let out a chuckle. He keeps hearing Klien mumbling to himself.
"Attention to all the students and professor. The largest training will be held in 3 minutes. Please place your butt here in at the training ground!" A huge rumble shakes the ground in where Florian is laying and Klien sitting.
"Damn! I stopped my piss. Just why does they have to do it in a wrong timing!" Taehyun said after coming out of the bathroom. He quickly grabs his underwear and starts wearing clothes.
"Are you just going to stay in there?"
"We need to go there? We're freshman and we just joined." Taehyun laugh at what Florian said. They really are freshman, fresher than any freshman.
"There's a rule in this school. If it was announced to everyone, then everyone should be there. No. One. Is. Exempted. Not even a freshman who just joined 1 minute ago. Go and grab your uniforms that were given to you earlier. If one of us is late just for one second, a huge punishment will be given to him or her." Taehyun explains as he was wearing his uniform.
"I heard last time that a guy came late because he was still in the bathroom, and they flush him on the toilet," Taehyun whisper. Florian jumps and grab his uniform. The moment his feet landed on the ground, the ground shakes a little, that makes the three of them freeze.
"Just one more minute!" From being frozen, the three starts to panic as Florian just left his uniform open, leaving his upper body to be seen. He grabs his shoes and opens the door. He uses his head to give a sign to the two so they can leave already as all they have is seconds.
One of the thing that Florian keeps on learning is on how to stop his feet to cause small earthquakes. He can't always create earthquake whenever he runs.
"There is a line on the training ground. It was a yellow line that encircle the whole training ground. We just have to get past that and we are safe." Taehyun says as the three of them are running for their lives.
All their shirts are still not yet done. Florian's uniform are left open as he just insert his arms on it so it can not be left when they run. Taehyun uniform is all button while his necktie is a just place on his neck. While Klien succeed in buttoning all the button of his uniform, place the necktie on his neck but he forgot to button his pants. Causing him to run while holding his pants.
"3." They see the training ground full of thousands of students. All are tired and catch their breath.
"2." Florian looks at the yellow lane. Can he reach it? Can he reach it with the two people beside him? Will he do it with them?
