Seeing that Diana was concerned about her, Susan lowered her head in guilt and said softly, "I didn't do what I promised to do for you."

The smile on Diana's face froze at Susan's words.

Aren actually refused to see me. Why? Is it because he still hates me for leaving without saying goodbye, or is it because I haven't returned to New York to see him in so long?

Diana couldn't figure out why Aren didn't want to come see her.

"Then did Keller tell you why Aren didn't want to see me? Did Aren know I'm back in New York and never leaving him again?"

This was the first time Susan saw her so anxious since she picked up Diana from the airport.
