Currently, I am pulling a horse with Hale mounting it with the Kircella infant breastfeeding from her.

Since Hale doesn't know how to use magic outside her natural elemental affinity, I had to draw it on her chest myself.

"Red, are you going to take the Kircella in as your own?"

On my other side, Ace is also on a horse while tugging along a long line of bandits that are tied together.

"I... I'm not really planning on adopting a child. I already have three with two more coming."

When I said that, Ace looks at me with an amused expression.

"Are you sure you're not going to? I mean, you were panicking when you saw how weak she was."

"If you have a kid of your own, you'd understand what it feels like to have paternal instincts."

"Sure, whatever you say."
